**Summary**
Systems & Applications Design is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that works with cross functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development.
The Senior Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications designs, integrates, and manages complex systems over their life cycles. They are engineering leads engaged in issues such as requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, testing and evaluation, maintainability and many other disciplines necessary for successful system design, development, implementation, and ultimate decommission. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations. #LI-LX1
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Enabling Common Automation Platform for global HPS by collaborating with NA HPS.
+ Strong in Python scripting and having experience to enable automation infrastructure.
+ Handling framework design, documentation, rules and automation solutions across all sites.
+ Creating libraries and APIs, test and deployment.
+ Having some system level understanding and enabling automation per test cases.
+ Working as the system test automation engineer for Switch, Server, and Storage product design verification tests which can be automated.
+ Support function test cases for automation enabling.
+ Support second source verification by looking at the automation opportunity.
+ Understand test setup for the development team.
+ Ensure the quality of design products and minimize defects escapes to customers.
+ Ensure the validation task is finished timely by well scheduled time frame, improving the test efficiency and automating the test execution.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ Knowing Python is a must
+ At least 5 years and above of Python Scripting experience.
+ Linux administration knowledge is a must.
+ Knowing Robot framework is added value.
+ Good oral and writing skills in English.
+ Team player and independently
**Physical Demands**
+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
**Typical Experience**
+ 15+ years of overall relevant experience preferred.
+ 8+ years of PCBA engineering experience in the server, switch, and access switch fields
**Typical Education**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or EE or similar with relevant working experience.

**Job Description**
The Data Solutions team is looking to fill the position of Software Data Platform Engineer. In this role, you will work on the design, development, and optimization of data systems that support advanced analytics, automation, and decision-making in our manufacturing environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

**Qualifications**
REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
+ Three years of working experience in software, data engineering or a similar role.
+ Strong programming foundation (Python, C#, or JavaScript preferred).
+ Experience in database (SQL) technologies and data modeling concepts.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing, automation, or IoT data integration.
+ Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices

**Job Description**
**Summary:**
Conduct new equipment introduction (automation) and set the equipment Maintenance plan and machine operation instruction, support Process ME ( Cable and Cable Assembly) team for the new product pilot run with the objective of meeting production requirements and ensure the machine stability on production within Engineering policies, procedures and systems.
**Responsibilities** :
**Manufacturing Process Development**
(i) Define, review and confirm the entire manufacturing process from start to finish.
(ii) Coordinate Design for Manufacturing(DFM) review, and initiate Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis(PFMEA) with core team members.
(iii) Prepare documentations and process specifications for production.
(iv) Lead team in identification, tracking and resolution of engineering issues using the Failure Analysis and Corrective Action(FACA) form.
(v) Continuous manufacturing process improvement with TEOA tools for cost reduction.
**Assembly Tool, Fixture and Equipment Development**
(i) Evaluate new tool, fixture and equipment demand/cost for new projects;
(ii) Design and review the tool, fixture and equipment with core team members meeting TE engineering and EHS requirement.
(iii) Upload all tooling prints to TE data management system(DM.TEC, PDMLink, etc.)
(iv) Discuss and review details of tool/fixture/equipment with outside supplier.
(v) Follow up the purchasing process to fabricate new tool/fixture/equipment.
**Qualification for Manufacturing process, Tool, Fixture, and Equipment**
(i) Condition all tool, fixture and equipment, lead the tool/fixture/equipment qualification by running samples or LVM,
(ii) Follow up the documentations for qualification, using TE standdard format and follow up the aproval.
(iii) Coordinate pilot run for new products and solve engineering issues, make sure the manufacturing process capability meet engineering, quality and customer requirement.
**Technician Guidance**
Coach, train and develop operator and technician in order to ensure their technique could be succeed and get continuous upgraded."

- Mechanical engineering related background, bachelor degree or above.
- 8+ years working experiences in related field.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join our Automation Development Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in multi-system integration, equipment communication (SECS/GEM), .NET technologies (C# and VB), web services, database management (Oracle and SQL Server), and development tools such as TFS. You will collaborate closely with factory operations and internal IT teams to gather requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure seamless deployment and support.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design and develop automation applications to support factory operations.
+ Analyze business challenges and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
+ Provide technical expertise to evaluate and implement cost-effective systems and procedures.
+ Collaborate across departments to gather requirements and deliver solutions that emphasize reusability, scalability, and simplicity.
+ Investigate and resolve operational issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
+ Manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring thorough documentation and alignment with business needs.
+ Work independently or as part of a team to execute tasks and projects assigned by project leads or managers.
+ Provide Level-2 technical support to the 24/7 application support team.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 2-5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Prior experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) or Semiconductor Back-End industry.
+ Exposure to highly integrated automation and manufacturing systems.
+ Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
**Preferred:**
+ Proficient in .NET (C#/VB) and/or Java programming.
+ Strong SQL skills; familiarity with XML, JSON, and web services.
+ Adherence to coding standards and best practices in documentation.
**Skills:**
+ Experience in Android development is a plus.
+ Familiarity with SECS/GEM equipment communication protocols.
+ Knowledge of Applied Materials E3, RTD, and Fault Detection applications is advantageous.
+ Experience with CAMSTAR MES system development is a plus.
