About the Role
You will be responsible for implementing new and sophisticated systems as well as
managing and maintaining existing IC Markets critical IT systems . You will be
involved in the delivery of IT infrastructure projects , systems administration and
support across a broad range of technologies from server, storage, networking,
security, audio/visual, as well as cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Extensive experience managing complex IT infrastructure across multi-site and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server core features , network routing , switching , and security technologies (e.g., Cisco, FortiGate).
- Strong background in server virtualization (on-premises and cloud), integration project delivery, and secure, high-availability system support in line with ISO:27001 standards.
- Proven ability to develop and promote information security strategies , build a security-conscious culture, and lead cross-functional IT teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or similar role in a medium to large organisation
- Have been extensively involved in several infrastructure related project deliveries, infrastructure upgrades and migrations
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and core Microsoft services (AD, DNS etc), virtualisation, backup systems and replication
- Advanced knowledge with hand-on experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure or other public cloud providers.
- Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing protocols and
- LAN/WAN technologies such as switches, firewalls, wireless access points
- Good knowledge of Python, Bash, PowerShell scripting, SQL server, MS365 and Google Workspace administration
- IT Certifications in relevant fields are highly regarded (VCP, MCSE, Cisco, AWS)

In your new role you will:
- Provide 24x7 operational IT support for existing Access Control and Video Surveillance solutions.
- Be responsible for planning, implementing, and running the Access and Surveillance platform by following global operation processes and guidelines, including documentation.
- Provide system maintenance and deploy new features and releases.
- Solve bugs/faults of the implemented systems/software/hardware with direct contact with vendor companies and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze physical security system performance and recommend improvements.
- Support projects by taking a security design from our Security team, including:

- Getting installation quotes from third-party providers.

Job Description
IT Support Specialist Level 2 Engineer will provide day-to-day local desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software, and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Centre. Desktop Support Engineer provides Break Fixes, fault diagnosis, and resolution. Providing fault analysis to customers’ various core operating systems and platforms, as well be able to provide support and apply desktop fault resolution for the approved application suite. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in Windows Desktop support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
- Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
- Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
- Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, another authorized desktop application.
- Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users.
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot for printers, and computer hardware.
- Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
- Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.
- Broad experience in IT with a basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecoms.
- This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better.
- Minimum of 4 years of IT experience.
- Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, and Helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, and Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, effectively determine priorities, and meet SLAs.

- Operate the computer hardware and software under the direction of his immediate superior.

- Ensure ownership of all hotel data and ensure that data is backed up in a timely manner.
- Ensure that hotel data is secured in accordance with stated standards and best practices.
- Ensure access controls are consistent with stated standards and best practices to ensure room access registration and safety.
- Identify, evaluate and implement local solutions to the extent agreed by the regional Deputy General Manager of Information Technology.
- Adhere to hotel safety policies, emergency rules and procedures.

The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and IT assistance to end users. This role requires someone with strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach. Job Description IT Support Specialist Level 2 Engineer will provide day-to-day local desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software, and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Centre. Desktop Support Engineer provides Break Fixes, fault diagnosis, and resolution. Providing fault analysis to customers’ various core operating systems and platforms, as well be able to provide support and apply desktop fault resolution for the approved application suite. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in Windows Desktop support. Key Responsibilities: Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues. Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed. Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution. Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, another authorized desktop application. Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot for printers, and computer hardware. Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers. Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software. Broad experience in IT with a basic understanding of Networks, Servers, Audio/Visual, Smart Devices, and Telecoms. This position requires the ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better. Minimum of 4 years of IT experience. Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, and Helpdesk ticketing systems. Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, and Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory. Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to multitask, effectively determine priorities, and meet SLAs. Excellent communication relationship-building and internal customer service skills. Adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing industry and work environment.
