Work experience requirement

  • Extensive travelling will be required to Asia Pacific region.
Qualification

Nature and Scope

The job holder is Business Development Executive reporting to Area Manager/Business Manager. The job holder needs to pursue new business aggressively according to the business objectives set by our company. He/She needs to have strong selling and presentation skills to do the job effectively. He/She also need frequent discussion internally with peers and also other departments including CSR, Billings, MB and Credit Management.

He/She is required to maintain existing customers and at the same time developing new accounts in a targeted area or sector. He/she is to continuously provide pre and post sales services to the existing and new customers, like product training, technical support and advice. From time to time, he/she is required to perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by their superiors.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To be responsible for sales of PGG and to achieve target set in the geographical area assigned to him/her.
  • To win new businesses (including new products from existing customers), To prepare business proposal and make presentation to potential customers.
  • To identify new business opportunities from the industrial listing or any other source of information and to prospect competitors’ customers through “cold-calling”.
  • Pro-active stewardship of customers through regular and planned phone calls with all key decision making contacts in order to retain existing customers and grow portfolio in the geographical area assigned to him/her.
  • Supporting the implementation of the price increase programs. Defending the general price increase (GPI) at enquiring customers; initiating and negotiating price increase proposals at customers where necessary.
  • To work with credit team and check on the prospects financial background before signing the business. To ensure collection target is met.
  • To follow-up on lost business and work our strategies to re-gain them.
  • 60% hunting new customers & 40% maintaining existing customers.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in any business discipline.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in hunting new customers from heavy industry, fabrication, automotive, construction, chemical, utility, sheet metal, or metal fabrication industry.
  • A positive and can do attitude is a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good communication skill in English. Knowledge of all three major languages (English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin).
  • Currently staying in Johor Bahru or willing to re-locate.

Job Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and maintaining the relationship with the existing customers.

  • Excellent understanding of various software products and their licensing policies
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 2 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

For more information, visit us at: We are inviting candidates for the position of: Account Manager / Senior Account Manager The Account Manager / Senior Account Manager is experienced in integrated communications, digital and social. He/She will be responsible for managing clients, coordinating internal resources and leading agency to meet clients’ marketing and advertising needs. He/She is responsibility for agency outputs, provides perspective and leadership in the developing the highest quality deliverables. Responsibilities: Integrated Campaign Management Develops clearly focused creative strategies and creative briefs Delivers value adding performance throughout the project Collaborative teamwork between Creative, Media and Planning Prepares and participates in client presentations Provides input for creative strategies/briefs Organizes day-to-day smooth operation of project Ensures and facilitates effective communication flow throughout project Manages production quality, timeline and budget expenses Client Partnerships and Collaborations Liaises and maintains regular contact between client Understands clients’ products, services and advertising requirements Discuss campaign details with clients and Agency members Demonstrates ability to interact with clients Organizes and participates in client presentations Organically grow the business Requirements: Minimum 4 to 6 years of integrated / digital experience in the advertising industry Self-motivated, persistent, hardworking, committed, creative, organizer, team player Hold a Polytechnic Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) Knowledge in digital marketing, advertising and marketing communication Knowledge in web analytics, data driven marketing and content marketing will be a plus Excellent listening comprehension and strong presentation skills a must Effective communication (verbal and written); Good command of the English language
