We are seeking a superstar Product Manager - Air Conditioning who will be driving the growth of PRISM+ Malaysia by managing and enhancing our products line up. Being a high growth electronics company, we are looking for a candidate who will be a passionate strong self-starter to manage PRISM+ Malaysia product needs.

This experienced and entrepreneur individual will help us oversee and lead the product category for Air Conditioner. This driven person will also need to generate data-driven commercial insights and product analysis to feedback to factory. The candidate will be considered a key member of PRISM+ overseas expansion team and will report to Malaysia Marketing Lead and Country Director of Malaysia.

Responsibilities of a Product Manager - Air Conditioning but are not limited to:

1. Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy by taking into consideration of the global view such as opportunities and target customers, initial development of the positioning, value proposition, pricing framework as well as initial capacity plans.
2. Lead and drive product development, conduct consumer and market research, define product requirements, lead and drive product launches, develop and maintain user manuals, and manage product roadmap and timelines.
3. Identify and prioritize new product opportunities for the product category, based on market trends, customer needs and competitive analysis.
4. Work with marketing to monitor and drive product success.
5. Drive innovation within product areas with industry trends and best practices.
6. Ensure senior management are up to date with reports and communications on the progress of the product category.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Understanding Air Conditioning products (>3 years of experience).
2. Proficient in Google Adwords, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (>1 year of experience).
3. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or any relevant course of studies.
4. At least 3-4 years' experience in Product Management - preferred to be in brand level.
5. Thrives in dynamic, uncertain, and fast-moving environments, a hustler.
6. A strong level of passion to understand thoroughly Air-Conditioners.

This role will report to the Chief Digital Officer and take charge of managing our air-conditioner products.

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, commercialization, and operationalization and drive the growth of your product category. You are involved in full product lifecycle management which includes defining requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, market research, and business goals. You will work closely and support cross-functional teams and our partners and become the point of coordination for ensuring the products deliver the best value and experience for our customers. 3. Lead and drive product development, conduct consumer and market research, define product requirements, lead and drive product launches, develop and maintain user manuals, and manage product roadmaps and timelines.
4. Partner with software development on the product requirements and oversee smart home integration for the product category.
5. Identify and prioritize new product opportunities for the product category, based on market trends, customer needs and competitive analysis.
6. Work with marketing to monitor and drive product success.
7. Drive innovation within product areas with industry trends and best practices.
8. Ensure senior management are up to date with reports and communication on the progress of the product category.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Management, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering or Finance).
2. Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience in B2B product management with the ability to independently lead the agenda.
3. No fear of the unknown; you have to be an analytical self-starter, comfortable with complete uncertainty as we look to venture into new product lines or models. You need to be able to dive in and test all angles without supervision.
4. Data driven; you need to be able to structure, quantify and qualify information on product research, and present this to stakeholders explaining the logic. Comfort with spreadsheet software and data modelling is essential.
5. Strong business acumen – understanding of the wider environment within which our business operates and implications of trends/shifts in sustainability and consumer perception, brand owners’ opportunities & challenges, and being able to drive actionable insights and articulate what products/services to offer to accelerate profitable growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop ultra-cold thermal chiller systems utilizing advanced refrigeration technologies.
• Carry out thermal and mechanical analyses to verify system performance and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate refrigeration systems into thermal test equipment.
• Conduct testing and validation of components and systems to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing and field service teams.
• Maintain adherence to industry standards and safety regulations in refrigeration system design.

• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressor technologies, and heat exchangers.
• Experience in the semiconductor or capital equipment industry considered beneficial.
