Job Description
- Serve as the main HR contact for retail employees across all stores/boutiques operating in Malaysia
- Understand business priorities and provide HR strategies that support growth, talent development, and operational efficiency
- Participate in the hiring of key roles to ensure alignment with business requirements and brand fit

- Track application status and maintain communication with expatriate to ensure smooth relocation process

- Work with the team to organize employee engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and other morale-boosting initiatives
- Support the rollout of local and group-wide HR initiatives and programs

About the Role
The HR Business Partner will be leading the overall recruitment and talent acquisition strategy for the assigned brand within Malaysia. Responsibilities will include defining and leading strategies to attract, recruit, retain, and develop employees who are passionate about joining the leading luxury retailer in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Implement talent acquisition strategy with the relevant business/department heads while ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing the potential of the team onboard.
- Promote good discipline among employees and support employee relations/disciplinary cases in accordance with Labour Act or Industrial Relations Act.
- Provide SME to HOD’s and line management on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions and conduct domestic inquiries, if necessary.
- Spearhead HR business cases critical to retail employees.
- Support all other HR Operations matters that are critical to the business, work closely with Brand General Managers and Functional HOD’s in providing professional HR advice, support, and updates in a timely manner.
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, assessments, follow-ups with Line Managers, and candidate feedback.
- Manage current pipeline and continue to explore new recruitment channels.
- Other ad-hoc projects related to recruitment and HR matters.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- Min 5 years of related experience in HR in Talent Acquisition and Industrial Relations.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or as a HR Partner.
- Familiar with Employment Act and able to handle disciplinary cases.
- Strategic business vision & good business acumen.
- Capacity to work in a complex, networked business environment.
- Planning, organisational and influencing/negotiation skills.

All activities are free of charge! About the Role The HR Business Partner will be leading the overall recruitment and talent acquisition strategy for the assigned brand within Malaysia. Responsibilities will include defining and leading strategies to attract, recruit, retain, and develop employees who are passionate about joining the leading luxury retailer in Southeast Asia. Key Responsibility Areas: Implement talent acquisition strategy with the relevant business/department heads while ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing the potential of the team onboard. Promote good discipline among employees and support employee relations/disciplinary cases in accordance with Labour Act or Industrial Relations Act. Provide SME to HOD’s and line management on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions and conduct domestic inquiries, if necessary. Spearhead HR business cases critical to retail employees. Support all other HR Operations matters that are critical to the business, work closely with Brand General Managers and Functional HOD’s in providing professional HR advice, support, and updates in a timely manner. Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, assessments, follow-ups with Line Managers, and candidate feedback. Manage current pipeline and continue to explore new recruitment channels. Other ad-hoc projects related to recruitment and HR matters. Key Requirements: Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Min 5 years of related experience in HR in Talent Acquisition and Industrial Relations. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or as a HR Partner. Familiar with Employment Act and able to handle disciplinary cases. Strategic business vision & good business acumen. Capacity to work in a complex, networked business environment. Planning, organisational and influencing/negotiation skills. Excellent Communication and Problem-solving skills. Resilient with high energy & strong drive. Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu both in written and spoken. Able to converse in other languages is an added advantage. Why work for us?
