Job Description

  • Manage payroll functions, ensuring timely processing, accurate reports, and clear employee communication.
  • Resolve payroll issues and work on implementing an in-house payroll system.
  • Coordinate onboarding, ensuring documentation, equipment setup, and smooth integration of new hires.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in HR.
  • Strong experience in payroll processing, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with HR compliance and labor regulations, particularly in Malaysia.
  • Experience in managing HR administrative processes, including compensation and benefits.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving HR-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external providers.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

As a Guru You Will Be Accountable For

  • Building strong relationships with business leaders and managers to understand their needs and provide HR support and solutions.
  • Provide HR generalist and advisory services to the Business Units and functions (Corporate Functions + Product & Technology) and ensure a consistent and integrated approach to HR activities and solutions in PropertyGuru Group.
  • Provide a full spectrum of HR services including performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagements
  • Supporting Head of HR for Corporate Functions & Singapore on local and regional initiatives including cyclical HR programmes and strategic programmes, initiatives and launches
  • Collaborate with P&C Centres of Expertise on program design, implementation and execution
  • Supporting talent management initiatives, including performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborating with business units to enhance employee engagement and retention through various programs and initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, as well as local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives, such as organizational change efforts, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee wellness initiatives.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Proven experience in HR, with a focus on partnering with business units to deliver HR solutions.
  • A good understanding of the many disciplines within HR, including but not limited to: diversity and inclusion, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management & employee relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices and employment laws, with the ability to apply them in a practical and business-focused manner.

Responsibilities

Project and Program Management : Lead and support various HR projects and programs, ensuring their timely and successful completion. This includes determining and developing approaches to human resources assignments, leading HR projects that require coordination with other functions, and managing timelines and deliverables to meet project goals.

Data Analytics : Review and analyze HR data in collaboration with the reporting team to provide actionable insights. Utilize data to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve HR functions and overall organizational performance.

Workshop Facilitation : Organize and facilitate workshops aimed at driving HR initiatives and enhancing employee engagement.

Issue Resolution : Identify and address urgent HR issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations. Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.

Leadership Engagement : Engage with leaders across the organization to understand and surface HR needs.

Collaboration : Work closely with HR team members and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of HR strategies. Foster a collaborative environment to drive HR initiatives and support cross-functional projects.

Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HR activities, maintaining organized records and providing clear communication to stakeholders.

Streamlining and Organizing : Streamline, organize, and create efficiencies for all Business HR documents, templates, and processes. Continuously evaluate and improve HR workflows to enhance productivity and reduce redundancies.

AI Utilization : Leverage AI technologies to enhance productivity and optimize HR processes.

Position: Human Resource Specialist

Within our Regional Shared Service Centre, you will join a fast-growing company and will be responsible for supporting professionals we engage on behalf of our client. You will assist in managing back-end HR, Payroll, and legal service providers that support the infrastructure of our international entities. We are looking for someone with global exposure and experience across the EMEA, AMERICAS, and APAC regions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support key employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, data management, absence management, visa renewals, transfers, and offboarding.
  2. Prepare HR documentation including employment contracts, amendments, policies, benefits enrollment, payroll documentation, onboarding guides, employment certificates, and termination certifications.
  3. Organize and maintain employee records via our proprietary platform: input, update, and process forms related to HR activities.
  4. Administer benefits on behalf of customers and professionals, collaborating with brokers and insurers for enrollments.
  5. Provide payroll data, including time and expense details, supporting payroll administration in coordination with payroll teams and providers.
  6. Conduct audits and data checks to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  7. Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes and maintain SOPs and policies.
  8. Communicate effectively with professionals and customers to resolve queries via email and other channels.
  9. Ensure service excellence by adhering to SLAs and SOPs.
  10. Liaise with partners/vendors including insurance, local service providers, and payroll providers to ensure seamless coordination.
  11. Serve as the first point of contact for professionals during onboarding and offboarding.
Experience & Qualifications:
  1. 5-8 years of HR operations experience; SSC experience is desirable.
  2. Knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  3. Basic understanding of labor legislation in the APAC region is advantageous.
  4. Experience handling offboarding processes is a plus.
  5. Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  6. Proficient in MS Office.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  8. Experience in stakeholder management and building positive relationships.
  9. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent time management.
  10. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
  11. Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
  12. Flexible regarding time zones and adaptable to a dynamic environment. Shared service experience is an advantage.

The Job

We are looking for a HR Specialist (Learning & Development) to further strengthen our HR department. You will work closely with various departments to identify training needs, develop, implement, and monitor the learning & development of all employees to support the achievement of a performance-driven culture. Responsible for end-to-end training management and administration, with a focus on the facilitation of soft skills programs.

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify the training needs for all employees in meeting the behavioural competency gaps
  • Design and develop training calendar, training programme outline, structure and recommend learning solutions to close performance gaps and increase business value
  • Source, plan, organize and monitor all the in-house and external training programmes
  • Conduct the new hire induction program on familiarization and understanding of company’s Performance Management cycles in HRIS Global System
  • Manage the overall training administration which includes training applications, HRDF claims, audit, training records and training reports
  • Work closely with relevant parties to drive e-learning initiatives
  • Actively support organisational development activities in meeting company’s development objective
  • Maintaining audit-readiness is the best way to ensure that your site is prepared for audits and inspections, both planned and unplanned
  • Support in Company events and activities
  • Handle employee relation matters that arise and provide feasible solutions to management
  • To undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties related to HR assigned by superior / management

Who are we looking for?

You'll succeed if:

  • You have minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience with good Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Excellent communication, high level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Like working autonomously, rigorously, creativity and have team spirit
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues will be an added advantage
  • Applicants must be willing to work at Pulau Indah, Port Klang

We are looking for an HR Specialist (Learning & Development) to further strengthen our HR department. As an HR Specialist (Learning & Development), you will perform day-to-day HR support, focusing on Learning & Development and related tasks.

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience with good Microsoft Office skills.

  • You enjoy working autonomously, are rigorous, creative, and have team spirit.
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues is an advantage.
