Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.

Ensure all matters related to office administration are delivered, i.e. daily office supplies management, company vehicles, safety & cleanliness guidelines, etc.

Any other ad hoc assignments assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.

Minimum 6 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

Strong knowledge of Malaysia's Employment Act 1955 and other statutory regulations.

Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (spoken and written) as the role required to liaise with mandarin speaking stakeholders.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on multi-tasking and execution.

Human Resources Manager We are looking for a hands‑on HR Manager who is excited to lead a single‑person HR department. You will own the full HR lifecycle for a hybrid team across Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

What You’ll Do

Recruitment:

Own end‑to‑end hiring for KL and SG, from job briefs and sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding.

Payroll:

Manage monthly payroll for KL and SG with accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

People Ops:

Run onboarding and offboarding, maintain leave and benefits, update and enforce the company handbook, manage HRIS records.

Performance & ER:

Assist managers with performance reviews, PIPs, and disciplinary processes, document cases and ensure fair practice.

Culture & Wellness:

Coordinate team wellness, engagement, and culture initiatives, plan simple rituals and events that keep morale high.

Office Admin (light):

Oversee basic office needs at WeWork, manage access, supplies, and vendor coordination.

Compliance:

Keep policies and records aligned with Malaysia and Singapore employment laws, support audits and documentation.

What You’ll Bring

4+ years of HR experience, including generalist work across recruitment, payroll, and people operations.

Working knowledge of Malaysia employment law, exposure to Singapore HR practices is a strong plus.

Experience running payroll in at least one market, comfort learning the other.

Strong owner mindset, organized, discreet with sensitive information.

Excellent communication skills across all levels, comfortable advising managers.

HRIS and ATS familiarity, strong Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in startups or high‑growth SMEs.

Built or refreshed a company handbook and core HR policies.

Led engagement or wellness initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Work Setup

Base:

Kuala Lumpur, hybrid.

Offices:

Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Occasional travel between KL and SG for key meetings or events.
