Talent Management is an integral part of entire Human Resources’ value proposition to the larger organization. The role is primarily responsible to provide corporate leadership on group-wide talent management strategy and execution roadmap, which includes learning & development, succession planning, talent review and assessment, organization design and structure & etc.
It is imperative for this role to demonstrate enterprise level’s competency to strategize the Talent Management initiatives effectively, execute each initiative systematically with speed and quality; and measure the short vs long term impact to the organization.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Talent Management & Succession Planning
- Develop and oversee an integrated talent strategy that supports workforce planning, career progression, internal mobility, and leadership succession.
- Lead the implementation of HiPo identification programs, development journeys, and career architecture across global markets.
- Collaborate with country HR leads and business heads to identify and close talent gaps.
- Build and maintain a robust Group-wide talent database with actionable dashboards and insights.
- Learning & Development (L&D)
- Lead the L&D strategy focusing on future skills, leadership readiness, digital fluency, and technical upskilling.
- Design and manage Group-wide learning programs including executive education, virtual academies, and certified pathways.
- Leverage e-learning platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, custom LMS) to promote continuous learning.
- Monitor training ROI through knowledge assessments, impact measurement tools, and business outcomes.
- Performance Management & Capability Building
- Champion a high-performance culture through the rollout of agile performance processes including KPIs, continuous feedback, and periodic reviews.
- Enhance manager capability in performance coaching, behavioral feedback, and career development conversations.
- Analyze performance data to influence talent movements, rewards, and development planning.
- Continuously refine the Group’s performance management system and policy.
- Employee Engagement & Experience
- Drive strategic and regional engagement plans that promote inclusion, psychological safety, recognition, and connection.
- Lead Group-wide culture and employee sentiment surveys, data analysis, and action planning with local HR.
- Design and implement year-round engagement campaigns, cultural moments, and recognition programs in collaboration with business leaders.
- Travel regularly to key offices (Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, UAE) for site-specific activities.
- Strategic Leadership & Transformation
- Act as a change leader in aligning the people agenda with organizational transformation goals.
- Foster cross-country collaboration while maintaining respect for local cultures and needs.
- Coach and mentor regional HR teams and build their capabilities in talent, learning, performance, and engagement practices.
- Oversee budget planning and vendor management related to development and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field of study is preferred.
- 7-10 years of HR experience including Learning & Development and Talent Management.
- Proven expertise in at least three of the following: Talent Management, L&D, Performance, Engagement.
- Regional or global exposure, especially across Asia and the Middle East, is required.
- Certification in psychometric tools, coaching, instructional design, or performance systems is a plus.
- The person preferably should have experience in the Direct Selling, FMCG, Banking, Logistics or relevant industries.
Requirements:
- Language literacy – excellent in speaking, writing and reading of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Computer literacy – working knowledge with learning management system platforms, virtual learning tools, Microsoft office tools (word, excel, PowerPoint, teams, outlook)
- Attribute: Strategic, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, result-driven, innovative, customer focus, persuasive and effective communicator
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution across borders.
- Deep knowledge of global talent practices, adult learning theory, and digital L&D tools.

Job Summary : The HR Executive (Generalist) is responsible for managing a wide range of human resource functions including recruitment, onboarding, attendance tracking, payroll processing, intern coordination, ISO documentation, and employee engagement programs. The role ensures efficient execution of HR processes and supports initiatives that foster a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including preparing job descriptions, posting vacancies (Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Mudah.my, Facebook), screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Conduct first-round phone screenings and arrange face-to-face second interviews with required forms and documentation.
- Perform background checks through reference calls prior to offering positions.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and employee handbooks, ensuring physical signing and stamp duty compliance.
- Coordinate onboarding by collecting required documents, opening EPF accounts, creating attendance accounts and HR-Software accounts, and locker assignments (where applicable).
- Ensure all new employees and interns complete orientation checklists and forms, filed in their personal folders.
- Coordinate internship placements with universities and manage onboarding similarly to employees.
- Monitor employee attendance using Jibble system and manual thumbprint for interns. Prepare monthly attendance reports by department.
- Process monthly payroll via HR-Software, ensuring accuracy in salary, allowances, commissions, and overtime.
- Maintain and update ISO-compliant HR documentation, including recruitment records and onboarding files.
- Propose, plan, and coordinate staff engagement and motivational programs such as bowling events and festive celebrations (e.g., Hari Raya).
- Support continuous improvements in HR processes and assist in ad hoc administrative or compliance tasks as required.
- Any Ad-hoc task assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Education : Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum 2–3 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist or executive role.
- Knowledge & Skills :
a.Familiar with recruitment platforms (Jobstreet, LinkedIn, Mudah.my).
b.Experience using HR systems such as PayrollPanda and Jibble.
c.Good understanding of Malaysian labor law, EPF/SOCSO/EIS processes.
d. Experience with ISO documentation is an added advantage.
e.Able to prepare accurate reports, letters, and maintain proper filing systems.

- In-charge of the preparation of Letter of Offers and Employment Contracts for new joiners
- Prepare new hire poster and blast welcome emails

- Maintaining master list of all employees and update respective department on new hires expected joining dates and upload their information into the system
- Extend 100-Days Plan to new employees, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their initial objectives and goals
- Manage and oversee the buddy system to ensure new employees are paired with experienced team members for a smooth onboarding and integration process
- Assist with HR induction processes to ensure new employees are effectively onboarded and oriented
- Register KWSP and tax numbers for new employees and upload foreign new employees information into Perkeso
- Conduct all offboarding activities which includes exit interviews, Perkeso update, preparing of leave summary, etc.
- Assist with MYFutureJobs application and reporting as needed
- Managing T.A.G to ensure all confirmed employees receives NFC name card
- Maintenance of personnel-related files and records such as P-files and timesheets.
- Assist in the onboarding of new hires and off-boarding/ clearance for resignees, including conducting exit interviews
- Perform any other ad-hoc administration duties as required
Employee Engagement:
- Oversee O.M.GEMS planning of company events and activities, ensuring each plans are running according to plans
- Assist in planning and organizing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives
- Oversee and manage corporate discount programs, ensuring employees are informed and can access available benefits
General HR Support:
- Support the HR Team with day-to-day administrative task and projects as needed
- Assist for an ad-hoc HR initiatives and activities
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

What do you do?
- The HR Executive will work closely with global employees (from China) by providing HR support in employee life cycle related matters.
- Update employee’s movement and personal data changes through SAP system within defined SLA (e.g., hiring, transfer, promotion, termination, resignation).
- Ensure and maintain the employee’s data is kept accurately and up to date.
- Prepare and ensure HR related documents or letter being signed within defined SLA (e.g., employment contract, performance appraisal template, Verification of Employment letter).
We're Looking For:
- Candidates possess Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant professional certificate or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years' working experience with SSC HR industry or related field will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required to support the HR team based in China, given the nature of the business.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
As HR Executive, you will be reporting to the General Manager Operation. Your role and responsibilities include: -
- Collaborate with the General Manager of Operations and the Chief Executive Officer to plan and implement Human Resource initiatives aimed at enhancing company efficiency and staff productivity.
- Maintain and regularly update staff records and databases.
- Prepare letters, memos, and documentation as required by the Company.
- Handle and process SOCSO claims, including documentation for occupational injury, medical leave, or invalidity claims.
- Manage insurance claims related to employee benefits, accidents, or hospitalization.
- Manage the protection, renewal, and storage of employee insurance documentation.
- Handle the stamping of contracts, sponsorship agreements, and other relevant documents through LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee employment-related matters, including health and retirement benefits (where applicable).
- Work closely with Heads of Department to identify and recruit suitable candidates for vacant positions.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department on payment matters and HR-related claims.
- Engage with employees regularly to understand their concerns, motivation, and overall well-being.
- Lead the orientation and onboarding processes for new employees.
- Handle exit formalities and ensure a smooth handover process for departing staff.
- Communicate company policies and ensure the Employee Handbook remains current.
- Review the HR policies and Employee Handbook in compliance with the legislation.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks including facilities management, office and pantry supplies.
- Act as the liaison for HR-related matters with government bodies including HRDF, SOCSO, LHDN, and others.
- Provide administrative support for football-related operations as directed by the General Manager or CEO.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:-
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and statutory requirements (e.g. EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, EA 1955).
- Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Human Resources Manager
Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This position will be an integral part in building and supporting HR programs, policies and HR Operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have HR experience and work closely with HRBP's to understand the organization's goals, culture, and challenges. They will also collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to provide valuable services. Proven knowledge of the Malaysia employment landscape is essential. A sense of urgency for execution as well as natural curiosity and an ability to deliver a positive customer service experience is also crucial!
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver HR services as a country HR Manager while also contributing to a wider Regional HR team that partners closely with the Global HRBP team.
- Ensure HR Operations for Malaysia, providing end to end HR support and drive process excellence.
- Resolve complex policy queries with regional/country specific advice needed, which is often tailored to a situation or requires local knowledge.
- Mentor managers on Employee Relations matters and engage with Employment Legal advice where required.
- Partner with Global HRBPs and COEs to support business needs. Advise, champion and implement regional divisional projects in areas such as learning and development, DEI, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, business transformation and total rewards.
- Support business transformation, acquisitions and mergers, facilitating HR integration, organisational change and employee engagement
- Lead and work on projects including but not limited to performance issues, conflict resolution, involuntary terminations, and mutual separations, etc
- Ensure payroll processing runs smoothly and ensure accurate and compliant processing, support on queries and projects surrounding future payroll needs, including process documentation and payroll transformation.
- Analyze and make recommendations on existing HR policies, practices and programs to implement improvements.
- Conduct exit interviews and deliver findings to the HRBPs to continuously improve the employee experience.
- Promote positive employee relationships through communication and interpretation of HR policies.
- Assist in communication to employees during emergencies such as wildfires, earthquakes, and other crises.
- Maintain and own all employee data in Workday, HR administrative procedures, and documentation processes.
- Ensure a full spectrum of HR operation duties is managed well, eg. on-boarding, newcomer orientation, contract generation, work pass applications, background checks, and benefits administration.
Regional HR APAC Support
- Assist Regional HR teams with various projects such as system migrations, Payroll transformation, HR policy development, Compensation & Benefit programs and more.
- Assist HR Business Partners in a variety of projects on an ad hoc basis, including assisting on implementing department-specific programs, year-end performance review process and compensation planning processes, and other tasks as assigned.
- Program Manage and be involved in APAC projects, deliver updates and findings to relevant partners.
- Work alongside the global HR team on a range of projects and look for opportunities for process optimization, automating repetitive manual tasks, or removing/combining duplicate workstreams.
- Assist the budget cycle, planning and forecasting labour costs and associated HR costs
Qualifications:

- Understanding of local employment laws and regulations
- Experience in partnering with senior HR and employee leaders
- 8+ years of experience in HR or a related field, within fast-paced, high-tech, or creative environments.

- Strong employment compliance knowledge with demonstrable track record to interpret and guide employment matters, lead grievances and investigations in alignment with local employment law and regulations (Malaysia)
- Solid expertise in key HR areas, including Employee Relations, Payroll, mentorship, recruitment, and training, with solid knowledge of HR practices, standards, and Malaysian employment statutory requirements.
- Nurture strong and positive relationships across all business levels and be a clear and confident communicator.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and common sense regarding critical information
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience collaborating with people at all levels of the organization.
