Role: Application Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with teams to resolve complex application and system issues
- Facilitate root cause analysis while providing timely updates to the stakeholders
- Assure quality support is provided by utilizing industry best practices, and follow the industry standards and ITIL guidelines for service management
- Complete the triaging of technical issues and requests within the agreed SLAs
- Provide operational guidance and training to level 1 support and other internal teams
- Provide technical assistance for issues and requests raised by the clients
- Possess a deep understanding of issue logging systems including JIRA and other helpdesk tools for managing service requests
- Be continuously updated on the new products launched and be actively involved in the knowledge documentation process
Requirements:
- Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a production support role
- Ability to work with business executives and technology personnel to prioritize tasks and projects according to operational priorities
- Self-driven and resourceful in yielding deliverables independently and in collaboration with others
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills when diagnosing technical issues and providing technical advice and guidance to clients
- Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
