Job Description

Overview

Project Architect is responsible for architectural design planning and implementation of assigned projects. You will assist in developing design plans and monitoring project implementation at all construction stages to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage architectural functions of small-scale projects or assist Lead/Senior Architect on larger projects.
  • Design, check and calculate all assigned architectural matters.
  • Supervise Graduate Architect and assist senior team members with analysis of information, production of designs and computations.
  • Assist in preparing specifications, proposals and other documentation under close supervision, applying standard methods and techniques to solve problems and complete tasks.
  • Submit high-quality work accurately including routine letters, reports, standard documentation, presentations, etc.
  • Provide information in an articulate and organized manner within the agreed timeframe.
  • Execute and maintain planning and systems related to design, ISO, and company goals and objectives.
  • Assist Lead/Senior Architect in conducting tender interviews and analyses when required.
  • Manage site coordination, review and inspection.
  • Monitor construction works of contractors and construction personnel.
  • Assist Lead/Senior Architect in liaising with clients, consultants and local authorities.
  • Review and analyse architectural inputs for construction drawings and cost plans.
  • Prepare, maintain and manage architectural drawings, documents, and related data in an organized manner.
  • Ensure BIM input and output are accurate and able to generate information and quantities for verification.
  • Monitor design aspects of construction works to ensure on-site implementation aligns with endorsed designs and shop drawings.
  • Ensure building design complies with local authority requirements and meets timelines to obtain CCC.
  • Manage and coordinate post-construction processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design and layout of infrastructure or building construction for hotel projects, with at least 2 years in consultancy.
  • Good knowledge of design, construction and building systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant software for building and infrastructure design.
  • High visual awareness and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical expertise related to design and construction.

Responsibility

  • Handling check in and check out duties.
  • Makes daily reservation count for arrival and departures.
  • Complete reports on timely manner.
  • Receive and reply call and email inquiry.
  • Accommodating guest request and inquiry.
  • Up selling room, lounge access (food & beverage) and promoting the hotel services to the guest.

  • Maintain a clean and neat front desk area/food counters/service areas at all time, to create a good impression to the guest and better working environment for staff.
  • Report any unusual occurrences to supervisor or manager which include hotel facilities defect, payment failure, other unusual incident.
  • Undertake Ad-hoc task or duty assigned by outlet supervisor, manager and management staff.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
  • Willing to work in shifts, weekend and public holiday.
  • Fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
  • Must be able to serve and work closely with alcoholic beverages.

Daily Grooming

  • Always look professional and yet able to delivery warm welcome.
  • Maintain high standard of personal hygiene.
  • Adhere to grooming policy.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur / within the Front Office Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Guest Services Agent is responsible for to meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous Front Desk service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The Guest Services Agent reports to the Front Office Manager / Reception Manager.

As Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Responsible to meet and greet guests at the Front Desk to perform check-in, check-out, and provide any other assistance, to escort guests to their rooms and assigning of rooms according to guest preferences and ensuring consistency in service delivery in order to enhance guest experiences through LQE.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the IMS policy and procedures
  • Ensure operational compliance to legal regulations and other requirements

As Guest Service Agent, we expect from you:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow hotel policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
