We are seeking a highly motivated Data/AI Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analysing complex databases, designing and implementing data models, and utilizing AI and machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from data. Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Modeling:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources (e.g., drilling logs, production data, sensor feeds).
- Develop, validate, and implement predictive models using Python-based machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Algorithm Development:
- Design advanced ML algorithms for reservoir characterization, production optimization, anomaly detection, and other oil and gas applications.
- Experiment with feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and ensemble methods to improve model performance.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure data-driven insights are actionable.
- Present complex findings in clear, concise terms suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Automation & Deployment:
- Develop and maintain production-ready code for ML solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy models in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premises infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data science and machine learning.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members on data science methodologies and domain-specific use cases.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in data science or applied machine learning roles.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Programming: Expert-level Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- ML Tools: Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly), and version control (Git).
- Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud: Working knowledge of cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage and model deployment.
- Domain Knowledge: Preferred experience (professional or research) in oil and gas projects, including familiarity with upstream/downstream data and industry-specific challenges. Software experience (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse) is an added bonus.

About the Role:
The License Assurance Manager will manage all aspects of software license compliance reviews within the Sitecore customer base. OverviewWith the growth of our Android app, being the most used text-to-speech app in the Play Store, we find the need for a Senior Android Engineer to help us support the new user base as well as work on new and exciting projects to push us forward.
This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

Our interview process involves several technical interviews and we aim to complete them within 1 week.
What You’ll Do- Owning major features and working closely with our design team - take ownership of features inside the app and become responsible of delivering high quality features
- Shape the future of our Android team
- Own, maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features
- Participate in discussions across different teams - Product, Design, Engineering
- Review pull requests, and support other teammates
- Handle critical issues or cope with unexpected challenges
- Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for the QA team
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Familiarity with Android components
- Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app
- Product design intuition and user empathy
- Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX
- Understanding of the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests
- Self-drive to improve the app and codebase above and beyond what's outlined in the spec
