Responsibilities
- Design and Development:
- Develop analog and mixed-signal circuits, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and signal processing circuits.
- Create and optimize circuit schematics and layouts using CAD tools.

Qualifications
- Educational Background:

- 1-3 years of experience in analog circuit design, development, and testing.
- Proven track record of successful analog hardware projects from concept to production.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or similar software for schematic capture and PCB layout.

About the Role
The PCB Design Engineer position is a senior-level technical role responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and validation of advanced printed circuit boards (PCBs) for high-performance cellular communications and telecommunication systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex PCBs incorporating digital, analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuits for cellular base stations, Wi-Fi routers, modems, and related telecommunication devices.
- Manage all phases of the PCB design process, including requirements definition, schematic capture, simulation, layout oversight, production documentation, and release to manufacturing.

The Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design works in cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who likes to take responsibility and works best with little supervision. Likes to perform a variety of tasks and have the ability to handle multiple priorities and has previously performed in a similar position. This is a 'hands-on' role requiring a strong technical background and product development experience.
Duties
- Identify technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve them by coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing and Field teams
- Participate in customer technical meetings and prepare training programs for internal subordinates.
- Hardware validation of Networking, Storage, Server products against customer’s infield issues, requirements and Mfg. issues during NPI or RMA
- System validation including DVT (Design Validation Trial), SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity & Timing) environmental & regulatory approval.
- Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost effectiveness and benchmarking
- Support Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineers on trouble shooting and resolving technical issues and root cause analysis
- Work with software teams to identify root cause of system failure
- Ability to install software such as Linux based Operating Systems, ONIE, BIOS, BMC, SES
- Proficient in using various test and measurement equipment including but not limited to Oscilloscope, Impedance analyzer, Power meter, Signal analyzer, Spectrum
Candidates should have 8+ years' experience in either Network, Storage or Server products.
- Strong electrical design and debug skills required
- Familiar with PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, I2C, SPI, DDR buses
- SDRAM timing and integrity analysis for clocks, strobes, S&H, Power bounce, temp stability
- Hands-on design knowledge of latest peripheral chipsets for Gigabit Ethernet, SCSI, SATA, SAS, USB, Ethernet, & PCI cards etc.
- High performance RISC / X86 CPUs and architecture including Intel, AMD, MRVL
- Proficient in using various test and measurement equipment including but not limited to Oscilloscope, Impedance analyzer, Power meter, Signal analyzer, Spectrum analyzer
- Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost effectiveness and benchmarking
- System validation including DVT (Design Validation Trial), SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity & Timing) environmental & regulatory approval.
- Work with software teams to identify root cause of system failure
- Working knowledge of windows & Linux configuration, installation procedure, network configuration, driver configuration etc.
- Working knowledge of Diag, ONIE, BIOS, BMC, Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of the following would be desirable:
- Experience of working in medium sized multidisciplinary development teams
- Ethernet Switches, Server, Storage products
- Orcad Schematics & Allegro PCB layout tools
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

Hardware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic hardware systems for a variety of applications. The engineer will also support assembly, testing, quality and site related troubleshooting, and work closely with all other departments to ensure relevant processes and products in Gutor are of excellent quality and in a timely manner.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support front end / production / quality / field service in electrical system and component characteristic and design inquiries based on Gutor design rules, knowledge and experience
- Able to run sustaining / development projects in addition to supporting daily business
- To maintain engineering databases and design / process documentations
- Able to design, develop, and test electronic circuits, PCB layouts and embedded systems.
- Ensure that hardware designs are optimized for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and test hardware prototypes to verify designs and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including signal integrity, power distribution, and component failure.
- Conduct rigorous testing for environmental, thermal, and performance factors.
- Ensure hardware designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., CE, UL, RoHS).
- Analyze failure reports and work on continuous improvements for reliability and performance.
- Assist in the transfer of designs to manufacturing, ensuring efficient production processes.
- Support in component selection, procurement, and assembly.
- Additional duties to drive hardware topics include:
- To provide technical support for Gutor design boards for internal or external.
- To lead and maintain the implementation of new design
- To define and drive testing procedures and templates required for part qualification of new part introduction together with testbay and quality team
- To implement clear design rules on how to integrate new released in a full customer solution.
- To work closely with the purchasing department on supporting technical queries for implementation and qualification of new vendors.
- Support RCA when there is a customer complaint.
- Support test bay for troubleshooting.
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Electrical design engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years)
- Proven experience in hardware design, development, and testing.
- Understanding circuit design and analysis (analog and digital).
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Capable to self-organize and drive multiple work priorities in parallel effectively
- Decision-making, able to take decisive actions based on technical and procedural facts and experience
- Capable to follow and practice international standard process flows and safety regulations tailored to Gutor requirements
- Proficient in written and spoken English language
- Shall we be able to use MS. Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
