ResponsibilitiesThe primary role of this position is in PCB layout design with secondary role to develop test program to test and characterize prototype hardware within the product development team. Layout design includes switch mode power supplies with high transient switching, small signal conditioning with low leakage and noise, mixed signal, high-speed digital, ADC, DAC & IO interface, clock & PLLs.
- Design and layout PCB boards for test & measurement instrument using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
- Layout high-speed digital, small-signal, low-noise, low-leakage PCB boards.
- Follow in-house design rules and guidelines to ensure the design meets required specifications.
- Develop new rules and guidelines to address new technology and techniques.
- Work with a System Architect or design-lead to define and optimize board layout to meet performance requirements.
- Work closely with the project manager to ensure hardware design meets the intended system performance, project cost, and schedule.
- Develop tests and test systems to evaluate and characterize prototype hardware.
- Promote good design practice and optimize reusable design blocks.

Responsibilities
As an analog engineer within the product development team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and validation of analog and mixed-signal hardware for Keysight test & measurement instruments.
Your role will focus on supporting the development of circuits such as power supplies, analog signal conditioning, data converters (ADC/DAC), sensor and I/O interfaces, PLLs, and filters. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and improving circuit performance.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and FPGA engineers to ensure high-quality hardware system design. Typical activities for this role include:
- Participate in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, and validation.
- Support schematic capture, PCB design reviews, and component evaluation.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and measurement of analog circuits.
- Work with senior engineers on design verification and system integration tasks.
- Document design work to ensure consistency and reusability.
- Contribute to improving design processes and practices under guidance from senior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design (e.g., amplifiers, filters, data converters, power supplies).
- Familiarity with circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice, PSpice, or equivalent.
