Key Responsibilities:
- Apply geophysical techniques to locate and evaluate subsurface mineral deposits.
- Analyze data from various geophysical methods to assess geological structures and orebody potential.
- Interpret aeromagnetic datasets using:
Analytical Signal Maps
Reduced-to-Equator Inversed Maps
Tilt Derivative Maps
- Develop accurate 3D models based on geophysical findings.
- Conduct basic geological mapping to correlate geophysical data with on-site observations.
- Collaborate with exploration and operations teams to support project planning and resource evaluation.
- Travel extensively across Malaysia to conduct fieldwork and site assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience in geophysical data analysis and 3D modelling.
- Proficiency in geophysical software and mapping tools (e.g., GIS, Leapfrog, Surfer).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
