Responsibilities- Apply geophysical techniques to locate and evaluate subsurface mineral deposits.
- Analyze data from various geophysical methods to assess geological structures and orebody potential.
- Interpret aeromagnetic datasets using Analytical Signal Maps and Reduced-to-Equator Inversed Maps.
- Develop accurate 3D models based on geophysical findings.
- Conduct basic geological mapping to correlate geophysical data with on-site observations.
- Collaborate with exploration and operations teams to support project planning and resource evaluation.
- Travel extensively across Malaysia to conduct fieldwork and site assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience in geophysical data analysis and 3D modelling.
- Proficiency in geophysical software and mapping tools (e.g., GIS, Leapfrog, Surfer).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong project coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Malaysia for field assignments.

– Support deputy exploration manager to establish efficient exploration database by arranging and managing seismic data, aligning with IT and Data Management Sr. Executive.
– Take major role in geophysical data interpretation of Block 4E and SK418, i.e, seismic structural interpretation, velocity modelling, seismic attribute analysis, prospect/lead extraction to exploit exploration potential of the Block 4E.
– Conduct Quantitative seismic interpretation, e.g., rockphysics modelling, seismic inversion, and seismic reservoir mapping, in line with geology team and third-party experts, to assess reservoir and fluid property, exploiting target reservoir’s rock physics properties.
– Manage and supervise the QI works by technical 3rd party and QC the deliverables in line with exploration objectives.
– Work with the geology and operation team to propose drilling prospects and prepare summarize exploration drilling proposal, including appropriate exploration risk analysis.
– Support in geophysical data acquisition planning and operation for geophysical survey, site survey, and well data.
