Job Description

Our data team has expertise across engineering, analysis, architecture, modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. This discipline is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data infrastructures, and enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Data Analyst/Data Scientist to understand evolving needs and define the data processing flow or interactive reports.
• Discuss with the stakeholders from other teams to better understand how data flows are used within the existing environment.
• Propose solutions for the cloud-based architecture and deployment flow.
• Design and build processes, data transformation, and metadata to meet business requirements and platform needs.
• Design and propose solutions for the Relational and Dimensional Model based on platform capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, test, and evaluate big data solutions.
• Focus on production status and data quality of the data environment.
• Pioneer initiatives around data quality, integrity, and security.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark
• Proficiency in Python.
• Some experience leading IT projects and stakeholder management.
• Experience implementing ETL/ELT process and Data pipelines.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Strong SQL scripting experience.
• Background and experience with cloud data technologies and tools.
• Familiar with data tools and technologies like:
• Spark, Hadoop, Apache beam, Dataproc or similar.
• BigQuery, Redshift, or other Data warehouse tools.
• Real-time pipelines with Kinesis or Kafka.
• Batch processing.
• Serverless processing.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured data sensibilities.

• Collaborate with team members and clients to develop engineering solutions for system architecture, layout, IO assignment, bill of materials, electrical schematic drawings, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients to ensure that the control software developed are as per user system requirement (USR), besides act as a point of contact for software development process both internally and externally.
• Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA mainly for Siemens, Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley.

Job Description:

System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the customer's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals, in this case IT end user, partners to ensure that the systems and network infrastructure are operating efficiently and securely. Your role will involve in IT system project study, design, installation, test run and post installation such as troubleshooting, as well as periodic optimizing performance, as well as schedule maintenance.

Other duties include attending project meeting, technical requirement study, project planning and technical deployment of the IT system project with other project team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement, and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network devices
• Configure and deploy operating systems, applications, and services according to best practices
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions
• Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients and vendors
• Prepare pre and post-project documentation
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA

Job Requirement:

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in implementing, and managing system infrastructure solutions
• Strong knowledge of operating systems & storages (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Result oriented with excellent process and SOP executor with right attitudes is important.
• Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous
• Minimum 2-5 years working experience in a system operation position.

Are you ready to provide essential technical expertise and support to drive our company's success? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, servers, operating systems, storage software and network to ensure seamless operations and support the achievement of our organizational goals.

What You'll Do:

• Daily Oversight : Oversee the daily upkeep and administration of the company's IT infrastructure and computer systems.
• System Management : Design, plan, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, servers, operating systems, storage, and software to meet current and future organizational requirements.
• Cloud Provisioning : Manage the provisioning and administration of cloud infrastructure to enhance agility and efficiency. Performance Monitoring: Monitor system and network performance, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Security Assurance : Ensure the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure, adhering to best practices.
• Vendor Collaboration : Liaise with vendors/customers on hardware, operating system, storage, and network setup and hardening.
• Procurement & Licensing : Work closely with vendors on quotations, procurement, and license/maintenance renewals for hardware and software. Software Deployment: Handle the deployment of the company's software products.
• Documentation : Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of hardware and software.

What You'll Need:

• A Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Technology in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field will be the foundation of your success in this role.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in related fields, showcasing your expertise in Oracle / PostgreSQL databases, networks, hardware, Linux OS, system security, and backup/recovery.
• Experience in handling complex technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise-level infrastructure is necessary, ensuring you can manage large-scale systems effectively.
• Experience and knowledge of AWS cloud administration is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Your analytical mindset, proactive approach, and resourcefulness will be crucial in tackling challenges and driving results.
• Your commitment to going the extra mile and providing support beyond working hours will make you a standout candidate.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision with a sense of urgency in responding to network problems and service commitments.
