Lead Process Engineer (Gas Processing) Job Description:Recruitment CAMPAIGN in KL Malaysia. Open to all nationalities who can attend interviews in KL at end April / Early May.
ROLE / PURPOSE:
This position requires experience in Concept, Select, and Front End Engineering Design of Oil & Gas facilities, mainly involving Upstream, Midstream, and Gas Processing. Experience in downstream industries such as Refineries and Petrochemicals is an advantage. The role involves in-depth knowledge of Gas Processing industries including GDU, GSU, NGL recovery, cryogenics, DPDU, Compressors, Expanders, Process and Utility Systems, techno-economic analysis, international codes and standards, and specialized process studies.
The candidate should have experience and be well-versed with Oil and Gas processing facilities, especially during Concept, Select, and FEED phases, including adherence to international codes & standards. The role also involves initiating and guiding in-house development activities, guidelines, procedures, and troubleshooting during various project phases.
During tendering, responsible for reviewing enquiry documentation and Scope of Work, performing pre-bid engineering, estimating man-hours, and providing inputs for bids. After project award, serve as Lead Process Engineer with responsibility for process deliverables, guiding/training process engineers, and coordinating with other disciplines and the client.
Roles may include secondment as Project Engineering Coordinator based on project complexity, shifting focus from deep discipline knowledge to coordination of engineering disciplines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to Head of Discipline / Engineering Manager (Process & Safety) and work under supervision.
- Apply strong analytical skills with proven experience in conceptual and FEED design for Gas Processing, including gas sweetening, dehydration, compression, NGL recovery, licensor evaluation, and techno-economic analysis.
- Coordinate with project management, clients, discipline engineers, vendors, etc.
- Review enquiry documents during tendering, clarify technical queries, ensure integration, and contribute to bid preparation.
- On project award, oversee process design and engineering, optimize designs, control costs, and guide process engineers.
- Develop scope of work for subcontractors, process design basis, and philosophies.
- Review and guide process simulations, equipment sizing, calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, vendor documentation, and safety studies.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and safety studies, and review equipment layouts and design reviews.
- Prepare operating manuals, procedures, and support commissioning and performance testing.
- Review as-built information and develop design guidelines and tools.
- Contribute to planning and progress reporting, monitor man-hours.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Sc./B.E. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute.
- At least 10 years in Upstream & Midstream Oil & Gas, with 6+ years in LDE role during Concept, FEED, and engineering stages.
- Expertise in process simulation using HYSYS, PROMAX / ProTreat; knowledge of PIPESIM, OLGA, TGNET, TLNET preferred.
- Proven skills in process calculations, software, and spreadsheets.
- Experience in developing PFDs, P&IDs, and C&EDs / Safe Charts.
- Good knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
- Experience leading engineering in large FEED/EPC projects.
OTHER AREAS:
- Leadership in HSE culture.
- IT Skills: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Aspen HYSYS, UNISIM, PRO/II, and similar software.
- Experience with PROMAX, PIPESIM, OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, etc., is preferable.
PEOPLE SKILLS:
- Strong communication skills, relationship management.
- Time management, organization, leadership, team building.
- Development of team members, performance evaluation, and stakeholder feedback.

We are hiring a Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer - Medical Gas to join our team in Shah Alam.
In this role, you will initially report to the Regional Business Line Manager. As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to support the Group's Vision of being "First in Mind and First in Choice" by consistently fostering and enhancing a culture centered on Customer Value and Customer Care within the organization. You will promote and implement the fundamental values of Atlas Copco, which include Interaction, Innovation, and Commitment. Additionally, your objective is to develop, expand, and effectively generate business opportunities for the Medical Gas Solutions Division, particularly focusing on Beacon Medaes products within the assigned territories.
The Key Responsibilities For This Position Are As Follows
Be responsible for the sale and development of the Beacon Medaes’s product and this shall include but not limited to the following areas:
- Achieve sales target within product range in assigned territory.
- Mapping existing hospital installation and competition in assigned territory.
- Pursue sales lead, promote standard, product and conclude order with professionalism.
- Create the awareness of the HTM standard and the good practices for the industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with distributors and key customers.
- Provide products and commercial support to distributors and customers.
- Liaise with internal colleagues to coordinate activities in executing sales order.
- Seek and promote new product launch by the division.
- Feedback and report on all sales related activities and market information.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments from time to time as per Business Line Manager’s instruction
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience, with a preference for candidates who possess a proven record of success in the medical sector, particularly in hospitals, medical centers, and related fields.
- A university degree or diploma in a pertinent field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in English is crucial, along with the capability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Skills in presentation, business writing, negotiation, social interaction, sales, and computer literacy are required.

Partner with the bestAs a Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Field Service Engineer responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation. You will also be handling operational maintenance, and testing on Gas turbines.
As a Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
Providing on-site technical direction to skilled labor during maintenance and commissioning activities on remote Shipyards, Oilfields, Industrial Facilities and LNG Plant.
Providing on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction.
Leading installation, maintenance, commissioning site activities with proper Customer/Company Schedule Targets Mindset following quality and HSE Rules.
Possessing the technical capability to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for gas turbines products.
Participating in customer and/or contractor meeting and be promoter on their recurrence and following action plan.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor’s from accredited academic institution.
Have at least 5+ years of experience in field service or maintenance position.
Have ability to understand and implement technical drawings.
Have knowledge on Baker Hughes Heavy Duty Gas Turbine/Compressors/Auxiliaries installation & maintenance philosophy.
Have excellent Technical skills in centrifugal compressors maintenance knowledge
Have good customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

As a Heavy Duty Gas Turbine Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for: Providing on-site technical direction to skilled labor during maintenance and commissioning activities on remote Shipyards, Oilfields, Industrial Facilities and LNG Plant.
Providing on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction.
Leading installation, maintenance, commissioning site activities with proper Customer/Company Schedule Targets Mindset following quality and HSE Rules.
Possessing the technical capability to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for gas turbines products.
Participating in customer and/or contractor meeting and be promoter on their recurrence and following action plan.

To be successful in this role you will: Have Bachelor’s from accredited academic institution.
Have at least 5+ years of experience in field service or maintenance position.
Have ability to understand and implement technical drawings.

installation & maintenance philosophy.
Have excellent Technical skills in centrifugal compressors maintenance knowledge
Have good customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

The Role of the New Product Development Engineer:
Based in the office, with the option of remote working 1 day a week, focusing on new product development for heating systems.
Identifying and sourcing market-ready components or “bolt-on” solutions to enhance existing heating, heat pump systems.
Evaluating products against criteria such as efficiency, noise levels, cost, and ease of installation.
Collaborating closely with technical sales, procurement, buyers, and technical authors to deliver effective solutions.
Engaging with new suppliers to identify innovative products and technologies.
Supporting R&D initiatives, such as integrating waste heat into heat pump cycles, to enhance performance.
Potential to manage and grow a technical team in the future.

Strong mechanical engineering bias with proven experience in product development, R&D, product management, or category management.
