- BSME or MSME with an emphasis on thermodynamics, heat transfer, or refrigeration engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in ultra-cold refrigeration systems.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, thermal simulation software, and refrigeration system modeling.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressor technologies, and heat exchangers.
- Experience in the semiconductor or capital equipment industry considered beneficial.

Job Description: dConstruct is looking for mechanical engineers to join our vibrant and driven systems integration team working on solving challenging problems in robotics. As a mechanical engineer at dConstruct, you will be building the systems needed to solve complex real-world problems. You will be working with clients to understand their needs and, in turn, implement their requirements accordingly.
Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical design for robotics structures, mechanisms and systems integration.
2. Plan and select hardware components to support robotic systems.
3. Work with internal/external partners to support part fabrication and custom sub-assembly.
4. Hands-on work constructing sub-assemblies to full robot systems.
5. Create specifications and design schemes.
6. Select components and vendors.
7. Liaise with electrical engineers, software engineers and other stakeholders to deliver robust hardware.
8. Define test plans and evaluate mechanical reliability.
9. Perform troubleshooting for issues that arise.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, robotics engineering, or other related fields.
2. 5+ years experience in mechanical design engineering and with experience in machine design.
3. Experience and knowledge in robotics is preferred.
4. Familiar with CAD software. SolidWorks is preferred.
5. Familiar with manufacturing technologies (3D printing, sheet metal, etc.).
6. Comfortable with tool usage, including power tools.
7. Bonus to have basic knowledge of C/C++.
8. Familiarity with industrial safety standards.
9. Good technical communication skills.
10. Able to work independently with some guidance.
