- Ensure the security and confidentiality of company database information, as well as customer data.
- Coordinate, implement, and deploy system application projects effectively.
- Support and maintain Gamuda Land's business applications to ensure optimal functionality.
- Verify and test application functionality against specification requirements before deployment to users.
- Liaise with vendors for program setup, installation, and configuration support.
- Perform database maintenance and housekeeping to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of support and services provided to users and vendors.
- Document system operations and activities, including implementation reports.
- Confirm that applications meet all organizational requirements, policies, and standards.
- Plan and coordinate the implementation and deployment of system applications as needed.
- Translate business operations into functional specifications for system applications.
- Monitor and manage system configuration settings, ensuring security controls are in place and authorized.
- Collaborate with vendors or system providers for troubleshooting and consultations regarding application functionality.
- Fulfil any other duties assigned by management as necessary.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management
- Degree in Business/Commerce, Management Information Services, Information Science,

- Ability to recognize potential risks and make timely recommendations for mitigation.

The New Roles:
- Responsible for Level 3 support and ensure tickets raised are handled within SLA.
- On weekly rotation for off-office hour support.
- Perform bug fixing for existing Cloud applications.
- Analyse and implement Change Requests (CR) raised by the BA team.
- Participate in penetration tests and perform fixes required.
- Perform unit testing and system integration testing.
- Maintain and support project post-implementation activities.
Requirements to succeed:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Software engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java EE platform and open source technologies.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent knowledge in relational databases.
- Knowledge in Grails Framework, Spring Framework, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, Web Services, and MongoDB would be an added advantage.
