As a Content Review Associate on theworld's most loved video-sharing website, you will provide dynamic service and support in relation to the productivity and compliance requirements of our clients. Social media regulation, Online free speech, Internal controls, Support for vulnerable sections of the society, EU policy making, Business process efficiency, project management, Quality improvement – These are some of the qualities and areas of interest we are looking for in our prospective team members
Required language (must have proficiency in reading, writing and speaking ): Korean and English
Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
● Understand and remain up-to-date with client’s policies and guidelines
● Review user reports regarding website content
● Analyze and identify content on creator channels that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action in a timely manner
● Make well-balanced decisions and help resolve inquiries according to defined policies and procedures
● Serve as an advocate for the user community
● Investigate and resolve issues that are reported on such as requests for account support and reports of potentially abusive content
● Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality
● Recognize trends and patterns, and escalate issues outside policy
● Fulfill base productivity and quality requirements of the client
● Respond to user inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy, and accuracy
● Gather, analyze, and utilize relevant data to develop ways to improve overall user experience
● Use market specific knowledge, signals, and insights to spot and scope scalable solutions to improve the support of user community
● Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest solutions
● Review of sensitive content sometimes involving graphic or disturbing subject matter
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
● 0 to 2 years of professional work experience in a related field.
● High School Diploma
● Fluency in English
Basic Qualifications
● Moderate to high Proficiency in using Google products, including Youtube, Gmail, Calendar, Google Drive
Preferred Skills / Experience:
● Experience with confidential information collection and management
● Experience within a business process outsourcing environment or comparable service environment
Professional Skills Requirements
● Well developed logic based decision making and ability to triage and escalate borderline cases
● Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation and interpersonal skills

Summary:
Content Moderators play an important role in ensuring the safety of online communities against harmful user generated content.
Safeguarding the online communication space can lead to meaningful and rewarding work for a content moderator as the mission of moderation aims to create positive, safe and inclusive environments for everyone.
Rewarding outcomes are not often without challenges. As a part of the job requirement, you will be required to review and analyze explicit and extremely sensitive content sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing text, videos, and images which may be disturbing due to their egregious nature.
The content under review is likely to expose the reviewer to crime scenes, dangerous or derogatory content, abuse, harassment and sexually explicit content.
