  • Collaborate with chefs to create innovative, seasonal, and culturally relevant menus for all dining outlets. Review and update menus regularly to stay current with food trends and guest expectations.
  • Work with the marketing team to create and implement food and beverage promotions and special events. Ensure the hotel's F&B offerings are aligned with brand identity and market positioning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers including negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure quality products at competitive rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, alcohol service, and labor laws.

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to type of event and service standards. Answer questions on menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals, control costs, and maximize profitability. This includes preparing and managing departmental budgets, including tracking expenses and managing labor costs. Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management. Collaborate with chefs to create innovative, seasonal, and culturally relevant menus for all dining outlets. Review and update menus regularly to stay current with food trends and guest expectations. Work with the marketing team to create and implement food and beverage promotions and special events. Ensure the hotel's F&B offerings are aligned with brand identity and market positioning. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers including negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure quality products at competitive rates. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, alcohol service, and labor laws. Prepare regular reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and financial outcomes for senior management. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Description

Your main duties centers on the procedural and personal dimensions as applied in the delivery of the guest experience in a function rooms, bars, lounges, restaurants, pool area or in-room dinning. You will:

  • set or prepare the outlet ready for service including keeping assigned areas stocked with supplies
  • respond to guests' needs & wants requests, e.g. food or beverage orders, serve and clear tables
  • prepare itemized checks and accept payment
  • answer questions, explain menu items and specials, and/or handle service recovery
  • perform up-selling of F&B products to guest
  • answer telephone calls and taking guest reservation
  • safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
