About The Role
To ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality systems in compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and certification standards. The FSQ Executive plays a key role in internal audits, external certification processes, and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS).

Key Responsibilities
- Developing, Implementing and Maintaining FSQMS
- Creating, updating, and maintaining food safety and quality procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, customers, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct hazard analysis or risk assessments on raw materials, packaging materials, chemicals and external service providers.
- Support in analysing and troubleshooting of non-conformances / customer complaint, coordinating Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action (RCAAP).
- Coordinate cross-functional training on food safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain FSQMS database, document update and control system either in physical copy or system.
- Ensure traceability / mock recall / mock crisis are carried out in the pre-defined frequency and time limit.
- Audits and Certification
- Prepare and lead internal audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas.
- Coordinate customers / third-party audits and certification processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies.
- Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Customer Focus
- Attend to customer enquiries / questionnaires and handle customer feedback / complaint in timely manner.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Compile and analyze FSQ performance data and KPIs.
- Prepare monthly FSQ reports for management review.
- Support risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and/or review daily, monthly and/or yearly reports / trending analysis for continual improvement
- Arrange and prepare for meeting minutes and/or FSQMS management review.
Qualifications And Skills
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry with sound technical knowledge in risk assessment, PRPs, HACCP, FSSC 22000,RSPO and other relevant food safety standards
- Experience in handling audits and certification process.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

- Assist in maintaining HACCP and ISO Certification for F&B Operations and Management through implementation of Food and Safety Management System (FSMS).
