Responsibilities: Develop extrusion processes including equipment and tooling for NPI Advance process technology for bulk cable to support production and new business development Monitor sample making programs and resolve technical issues Create and maintain process documents, SOPs, and VPs based on product drawings and process needs Requirements
Associate degree with an engineering background Minimum 5 years of high-speed bulk cable manufacturing experience Good knowledge of extrusion processes Ability to solve critical issues and stabilize processes using tools like FACA, DOE, SPC Strong logical analysis skills and familiarity with SI Effective communication skills, integrity, accountability Knowledge of evaluation tools such as BOP, P-FMEA, DFM Basic data analysis skills including CPK, PPK, yield analysis, T-test, tolerance, correlation, regression Basic English reading and writing skills Seniority level

Penang, 07, MY This position is for a product quality engineer. As product quality engineer for backend, one will r eview customer reported failure, manage and improve field RMA test plan and RMA report, involved in the customer quality case investigation. Although the position is primarily a quality management based, the candidate must interface with product testing team, QA team, PMO team, GDS engineering team and customer facing team. Candidate must have strong knowledge in quality management, technology background on switch, storage and server product testing.(LI-CT1) Detailed Description
Review and manage the RMA tracker to make sure data integrity and completeness to support deeper data analysis Monitor the RMA failure analysis activities and identify gaps , provide the improvement for RMA failure analysis process and results Build and maintain the know-issue list for quality data analysis RMA failure analysis results review and provide the feedback to function teams including design, manufacturing and SCM Work with manufacturing QA team on quality cases investigation, provide guideline on failure analysis and impact assessment to make due diligence work be completed prior to case closing or escalating Work with DQM team to coordinate the engineering team failure analysis for major customer quality cases Provide the RMA testing improvement plan to support the NDF and others non-root-caused reduction initiatives Support key accounts customer report review to improve customer experience Experience with relevant product quality management:
Deep understanding on product lifecycle Familiar with customer RMA process and workflow Familiar with quality management tools including but not limited to Pareto, 5 Whys, Fault tree analysis, Scatter diagram, 8D report and checklist, Fishbone diagram Experience on failure analysis principle and methodology
Proficient with a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong ability to work under time constraints, to multitask, and solve problems Strong organizational and planning skills Strong attention to detail Strong ability to work well in a group atmosphere, and comply with high quality standards. Typical Experience
Strong ability to shift from one task to another to address changing priorities. Minimum of 3 years in similar position Experience working with Asian based design and production teams is desired. 3 year experience as a people driven functional manager is desired. Prior participation in quality management is desired Product testing related experience is desired The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of working with a minimum of supervision in a dynamic team environment. Good interpersonal skills: be able to communicate effectively with members of other teams, departments and clients; as a high degree of liaison is needed. Typical Education
