About the job Project Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Company Background:

We are representing a well known U.S.-based food manufacturer in Petaling Jaya. As they are expanding, they are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage capital expenditure projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Project Engineers to ensure successful execution and handover of Capex projects to Production and Maintenance teams.
  • Manage and communicate updates on the Site Master Plan and Capex projects to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Support Procurement with technical input on designs, capabilities, and specifications.
  • Identify, plan, and lead projects of varying complexity using structured Project Management methodologies.
  • Define team roles, responsibilities, and expectations; coordinate with Site Support, EHS, and Plant Engineering for safe and timely execution.
  • Develop and implement standardized practices for Capital Project execution, ensuring compliance with corporate and local regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience as Project Manager.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in capital finance and project management, along with solid technical engineering skills in both electrical and mechanical design.
  • Good understanding in DOSH and OSHAS standards
  • Preferably from Food Manufacturing experience.
  • Good communication skill in English.

Working Hour: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
