**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Fire Safety Lead, you will be in charge of planning and coordinating the fire safety operations for small to medium-sized property.
This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence stakeholders, and to ensure compliance.
+ Enforce all fire prevention, safety, and security policies and procedures. Remain up to date on pre-fire plans
+ Review and implement the organization's fire prevention, safety, and security policies and procedures.
+ Meet regularly with property managers to discuss events, escalated incidents, and serious concerns.
+ Review equipment tests to verify they work in an effective and efficient manner. Escalate any concerns or issues to management.
+ Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks, and procedures.
+ Support Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives program.
+ Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
+ Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
+ Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
+ Work with stakeholders to identify potential concerns. Communicate findings, concerns, and deficiencies to responsible functional managers.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Additional certifications as required by the local authority.
+ A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
+ Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

This is a global support role, covering SCB's presence across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, and spans multiple business lines such as Retail Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Transaction Banking, and Financial Markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment: support the performance of both inherent and residual risk assessments (regular, dynamic and targeted).
• Control Monitoring: Support the control design effectiveness assessment, and dynamically monitor risk and controls.
• Change Risk: Assess and manage risks associated with change initiatives.
• Issue & Event Management: Support in the management of issues and events, escalate as needed, and ensure timely reporting.
• Risk Insights: Provide actionable risk insights to business stakeholders.
• Data Quality: Identify and remediate data quality issues, including administration, reporting and ownership of resolution. Ensure data models are up to date and accurate.
• Horizon Scanning: support horizon scanning product and related Knowledge Management System
• FFG Programme: support the overall embedding and transitioning of new technology solutions (e.g. AI capabilities) into various risk processes.
• Governance: document processes and procedures to ensure transition of services to the Managed Service team are accurate, up to date and centrally stored and available.
• Help build world-class risk and compliance capabilities, fostering a risk-aware and client-focused environment for the bank’s next phase of growth.
• Deliver simplified, standardized, and digitized solutions that meet compliance obligations while providing insights to the 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) for better decision-making.
• Execution of risk assessment, monitoring and insight processes.
• Enhance and simplify controls related to OTCR (Operational, Technology, and Cyber Risk), where appropriate.
• Capture lessons learnt and refine tooling and processes improvements.
• Identify insights, analyse, and assess OTCR risks and implementing control frameworks to manage these risks.
• Development of basic MI to support Coverage and SME actions (i.e., trends).
• Conduct deep dives into material, emerging, or unknown risks to enable appropriate risk mitigation.
• Manage issues as they arise, performing root cause analysis, lessons learned, and remediation efforts.
• Address data quality issues and ensure data models are up to date and accurate, notably those that are related to implemented AI use cases and capabilities.
• Maintain Knowledge Management Systems that enable and support risk products and microservices.
• Implement a risk-based compliance framework for managing OTCR risks.
• Recommend risk assessment standards across OTCR risk types, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Escalate potential OTCR risks to management.
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of audit, assurance, and regulatory reviews related to Professional Services, including tracking and remediation.

Provide assistant and support to HSE (Manufacturing) in developing in Occupational Health and Safety Management System to achieve OHSAS 18001 certification.
Prepare and implements the Department Annual Safety Scheme and issues monthly reports.
Participates in the Monthly HSE Meetings and report all incident/accident and schedule Safety Committee Actives.
To carry put counter measure mechanism to prevent from reoccurring.
Plan and support out daily inspection on production, 5S, hostel, firefighting equipment and electrical wiring in good working condition.
Plan and Conduct Tool Box briefing every morning section by section.
Supporting government reports preparation.
Support to prepare training schedule on Safety, Health and Environment for all staff.

This job is about being a Safety Officer, where you'll ensure a safe and healthy workplace by planning and managing safety programs. To perform workplace inspection and support internal/ external audits by various parties such as customer, authorities, ISO and follow-up efforts or any relevant projects as required by management Take proactive measures to reduce hazards at workplace and prevent possibility of future occurrence of incidences and accidents To advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of the person employed in the place of work Work closely with the local statutory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, BOMBA etc.) to ensure compliance and update OSH related issues Identify potential risk and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions in safety management. To conduct an annual HIRACR review at all sites collaboratively with other teams. Liaise with YCH Group EHS on matters related to EHS Become Secretary of Environmental, Health and Safety Committee, assist the committee in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health programs at the place of work and assist in any inspection of the place of work for the purpose of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the act and regulation Investigate and report any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrences, occupational disease and EHS complaints. Respond to incidents (accidents, near misses, etc.) promptly, investigate, and report findings. To collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and disease which have occurred at the place of work Prepare Monthly EHS Report and Statistics report Facilitate safety training, monitor and conduct courses as required Assist in implementing ISO14001 standards in collaboration with the QA HOD. Review and update EHS programs, policies, and procedures as necessary to maintain compliance and improve safety standards. Participating in audits by authorities, certification bodies, and customers, ensuring EHS compliance with requirements Organize and conduct the yearly Fire Drill to ensure employees are prepared for emergencies. Participate as an Internal Auditor, understanding standards and customer requirements related to safety, health, and the environment.
