Job Description

As a Finance Risk Manager, you will lead the design and continuous improvement of C2 Computer finance risk management framework. You'll be responsible for identifying and assessing financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and embedding a strong risk culture across finance functions. This role requires expertise in risk governance, financial controls, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Framework & Governance

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive finance risk framework aligned with COSO ERM and Lenovo's strategic goals.
    • Define clear roles and responsibilities for risk ownership across finance teams.
    • Ensure alignment with corporate risk policies through coordination with central governance teams.
    • Lead periodic reviews of risk policies, procedures, and delegated authorities (DOA/SOD).

Risk Identification, Assessment & Reporting

  • Identify and assess financial risks (e.g., credit, operational, compliance, fraud) using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Integrate risk insights into financial planning, accounting, and strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards for leadership reporting.
    • Support internal/external audits and regulatory reviews.

Risk Processes & Controls

  • Standardize risk management processes from identification to escalation.
  • Conduct deep-dives and scenario analyses on emerging risks.
  • Ensure robust control frameworks with regular testing and validation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Advisory

  • Partner with FP&A, GEM, Treasury, AR, Legal, HR, and other teams to embed risk practices.
  • Provide advisory support for new systems, initiatives, and corporate projects.
  • Promote risk awareness through training and engagement programs.

Continuous Improvement & Technology Enablement

  • Leverage technology and data tools to enhance risk analytics and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and post-incident reviews.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in finance, audit, or risk management roles, ideally in a multinational or complex business environment.

Skills:Strong understanding of financial risk types and mitigation strategies.

Familiarity with COSO ERM, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in risk assessment tools and data analysis.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.Tools: Experience with risk dashboards, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Summary

As a member of the Group Information Security and Governance (GISGD), CISO office, this role involves overseeing the implementation and execution of the Group's Technology Risk Management (TRM) policies, guidelines, methodologies, and initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities:


• Identify, assess, and evaluate risks to support the execution of the IT risk management strategy.


• Develop, maintain, implement, and enforce frameworks, policies, and guidelines to establish strong governance of IT risk and compliance.


• Ensure that all policies and procedures are aligned with and compliant with regulatory requirements.


• Promote a culture of IT risk awareness by ensuring stakeholders understand risks and actively contribute to the IT risk management process.


• Continuously monitor IT risks and provide actionable insights to stakeholders to ensure the IT risk management plan remains effective.

The opportunity

As part of our life actuarial team, you’ll focus on high-impact opportunities to apply your knowledge and experience that will shape our services. You’ll build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities, through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues.

Your key responsibilities

As a FSRM Manager/Senior Manager, you'll technically contribute to manage and lead FS Risk Management engagements. You will work effectively as a team leader having the responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating engagement directors and partners on progress.

You'll also build valuable relationships with external clients and internal peers. In addition, you'll contribute to presentations and provide inputs to proposals. Drawing on your skills and experience, you'll stay abreast of innovative commercial insights for clients.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Strong educational background from a top institution, quantitative/ finance/ economics/ actuarial programme
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in the following areas:
  • IFRS17 implementation
  • Familiar with data, systems and processes
  • Experience in working in a project-based, team-oriented environment, ideally in the insurance sector or consulting, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Experience in analytical and risk management tools/systems (e.g. SAS, Murex, VBA, MATLAB)
  • Excellent analytical, report-writing, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong management skills and proven people management skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Professional certifications in FRM, CFA and PMP

Your Key Responsibilities

Drawing on your skills and experience, you'll stay abreast of innovative commercial insights for clients. You’ll also assist in packaging overall project findings into clear, concise, high-qualityproducts.

You'll serve as a role model to junior team members for quality & risk management and ensure that junior team members are aware and understand and comply with EY's Quality & Risk Management guidelines. As a Manager/Senior Manager, you'll also communicate effectively with junior team members and help cultivating them to becoming a high performer.
