Baseline understanding of one or more of the following (or similar) applications desired, but not required: TM1, PEGA, Cognos Controller and/or Cognos Analytics Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required. Job Purpose

The Malaysia Financial Controller (MY FC) is responsible for the financial management, control, and statutory compliance of the operating activities of the Malaysia divisions, namely Sales and Manufacturing, along with the legal entities registered in Malaysia. Tasks and Responsibilities Commercial

• Support the Sales division in driving sales opportunities and establishing sales targets.
• Provide margin control and analysis to the sales division.
• Work with the Sales Division to establish and manage all third-party agents and distributors relationships.

Control

• Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year-end accounting close processes in accordance with group requirements and schedules for all legal entities.
• Maintain and improve financial controls for the MY Divisions.
• Oversee the company's assets, including inventory, ensuring checks and reconciliations are performed with corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage external audits, liaising with auditors and providing timely inputs to the Group Audit.

Reporting, Analysis, & Forecasting

• Adhere to group finance reporting, analysis, and forecasting schedules.
• Provide timely, accurate, and relevant performance reports.
• Investigate performance variances and provide insightful management commentaries.
• Lead divisional forecast processes in line with Group standards.
• Establish efficient record-to-report processes for timely financial reporting.
