Job Description
We're looking for a Local (Malaysian) Korean-speaking candidate for a Sales Operation Analyst role.
In this role, you will partner with Consulting, Training, and TAM services leaders to understand the drivers of revenue and expenses and use financial and operational metrics to help them improve their business. You will work directly with business and operations leadership on reporting, business analysis, market research, and overall business intelligence. You’ll participate in the design of new operational practices aimed at improving execution by monitoring and analyzing the business's key performance indicators.
You will need to understand complex financial and operational problems and propose solutions using your business acumen. This position requires excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization and the ability to support multiple teams and geographies for Red Hat's Services team.
This role will be located in Malaysia (Mid Valley) office.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine key business metrics and conduct analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, while evaluating possible alternatives and recommending appropriate actions across Red Hat teams
- Primarily support Korean Services leaders and the ability to support leaders globally
- Match, cleanse, validate, and/or consolidate large datasets; conduct analysis to identify trends and guide decisions
- Perform special projects to create or improve efficiency in business processes
- Present timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
- Support Regional Business leaders, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Revenue team analysts by being the first point of contact for issues and questions
- Provide an insightful use of business analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results.
- Increase productivity of the business unit by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools and processes
- Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company. Identify non-value added processes within the department and identify alternatives.
- Improve financial and operational performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
- Manage forecasting and reporting activities for consulting, training, TAM KPIs
- Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, and recommending actions
- Train new employees and ensure training material/documentation is kept current
Required Skills:
- Fluent in Korean and English (Verbal and Written).
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or any analytical discipline (or equivalent experience); Graduate degree in business administration is a plus.
- 1 year of progressive financial or data analysis experience
- Experience using support systems and tools including LMS, Salesforce, FinancialForce (PSA), Oracle Business Objects and Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of procedural controls and data validation techniques required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think strategically
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a challenging, fast-paced environment requiring significant context switching between complex and routine tasks
- Excellent Google Suite skills, specifically Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL queries a plus
- Must possess a passion to learn and grow
Preferred Skills:

ACCA Careers Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia The Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting accounting and reporting activities, ensuring the integrity of financial data, adherence to accounting policies, and compliance with internal controls. This role helps deliver accurate and timely reporting in line with global systems and requirements. Responsibilities
Support accounting and reporting processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
Prepare and post ledger entries and journal adjustments with strong attention to detail.
Contribute to group financial reporting activities and support the month-end close process.
Perform reconciliations, validate data, and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of reports.
Monitor open and overdue items, following up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Address routine operational issues, escalating more complex matters to management or business partners as needed.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen understanding of the general ledger and reporting requirements.
Liaise with other internal teams and external stakeholders to support cross-functional activities.
Participate in improvement projects and initiatives related to accounting, reporting, and controls.
Qualifications
Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or currently pursuing.
1-2 years of relevant experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
Experience working in a shared service centre environment.
Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
