Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall tax management, including tax incentive applications, return filing, SST, withholding tax, transfer pricing, tax estimates, and e-invoicing implementation, with knowledge of Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) regulations.
- Oversee daily accounting operations by reviewing expense claims and invoices, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with relevant standards.
- Manage cash and banking activities such as online payments, receipt confirmations, bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate reflection of cash flow movements.
- Support financial analysis and budgeting by tracking key business indicators like revenue and cost, assisting in monthly and annual budgeting, and analyzing variances with actionable insights.
- Coordinate with external parties including tax agents, auditors, company secretary, and government authorities to support smooth audit and tax processes, especially during year-end closing.
- Perform other duties and special assignments as required by management.
Requirements:
- A Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Taxation, or Financial Management.
- 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting and tax management in medium or large manufacturing companies, preferably with Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW).
- Strong financial knowledge with hands-on experience in SAP Finance module and proficiency in Excel and other office software.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and ethical, with solid analytical and decision-making abilities.

Position SummaryFixed Asset
• Oversee Fixed Asset daily operation including registration, capitalization, disposal and transfer of assets. Ensure timely asset tagging upon capitalization and proper documentation of asset locations.
• Close monitoring of CAPEX projects and Asset Under Construction. Prepare monthly reporting for local management review & corporate reporting.
• Prepare Fixed Asset Movement Report for US GAAP corporate reporting.
• Prepare the relevant fixed asset schedules, movement for yearly Audit & Tax Comm and involve in any fixed asset related queries (Local GAAP). This includes support RA claims and special MIDA tax incentive on capital projects.
• Responsible for periodic Fixed Asset sighting exercise
• Work with business partners in finalizing of Capital Expenditure project papers, calculation and monitoring of ROI.
• Oversee the AP process for fixed asset and ensure vendor recons are performed, and vendors are paid timely.
• Responsible for Fixed Asset related close activities, statutory audit etc.
• Forecast and budgeting activities for CAPEX and fixed assets.
• Work with production to compile yearly STRAT plans
GL
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations review and timely submission in Trintech by recon owners. Monitor and ensure all old balances are cleared timely.
• Support Quarterly SSCQ & Non-Financial Disclosure submission
• Verify sustainability reporting and submission of other local government requirement
• Statistics submissions & other local government queries
• Support yearly audit closure.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma,Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma,Bachelor’s Degree,Post Graduate Diploma,Professional Degree,Master’s Degree Finance/Accountacy/ Business Studies/Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC 6 is an added advantage;
• Required language(s) : English, Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point Presentation

Prepare and review tax, financial, and regulatory reports for our superannuation fund and managed investment trust clients, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely reporting with attention to detail. Analyze and resolve operational issues effectively.
You will support process improvements and collaborate on technology developments to meet business and client expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements, distribution calculations, and tax returns
- Preparing regulatory reports for APRA and ABS
- Reconciling accounting income with taxable income
- Performing daily and monthly activities following procedures and controls
- Reviewing and resolving aging break items and thresholds
- Updating procedures and controls
- Providing backup coverage and supporting team during high volume periods
- Driving process improvements and error mitigation
- Assisting with audit, client queries, and risk management
- Assessing risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance, and escalating issues appropriately
Ideal candidate skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, technology, or related fields
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience with financial reporting knowledge
- Experience in accounting, finance, or business operations
- Experience in fund administration, change, or project management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

**In this role, you're expected to:**
Your role as a Tax & Financial Reporting Supervisor will be to prepare and review tax, financial and other regulatory reporting for our superannuation fund and managed investment trust clients. Core to this role is ensuring high quality, accurate and timely reporting with an exceptional level of attention to detail. This will involve an ability to analyze and resolve operational issues.
Your challenge will be to support continuous process improvement and collaborate with internal stakeholders on technology developments to meet business and client expectations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Preparation of business activity financial statements, distribution calculations and tax returns
+ Preparation of financial statements, APRA and ABS regulatory reporting
+ Reconciliation of accounting to taxable income
+ Perform other daily and monthly activities as required adhering strictly to established procedures, controls and checklist
+ Review & resolve aging break items and breaks over a certain dollar threshold
+ Review and update procedures & controls
+ Provide back-up coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods
+ Drive and contribute towards process improvement
+ Provide solutions to mitigate errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
+ Support Manager in monthly team planning, coordination and resourcing
+ Assist the team manager in audit queries, client queries, and risk related items
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:**
