The Finance Director will work directly with the leadership and oversee the financial health of our company. Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Operations:
Oversee Group Finance and Accounts reporting directly to the CEO and the COO.
Manage the Group’s operational cash flow and cash level.
Maintain oversight and ultimate responsibility for Group financials and bank accounts.
Implement financial policies and procedures and internal controls.
Audit:
Manage the preparation of material and the smooth and timely completion of annual audits, and submission of audited financials for the Group and its Subsidiaries on an annual basis.
Taxation:
Oversee the establishment and maintenance of an efficient tax structure for the group and its subsidiaries.
Lead the process of obtaining or updating advice on taxation efficiency, transfer pricing etc. and in implementing changes to bring greater efficiencies to our group structure.
Provide effective and timely advice to leadership on developing changes to regulations and legislation and on the required changes to processes and structures as they emerge.
Oversee the timely preparation and filing of taxes by each reporting entity.
Payroll:
Oversee the execution of Payroll in Manila, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and the United States, maintain line of sight and familiarity with payroll in Shanghai.
Business Administration:
Lead the Business support function in ensuring that commercial registration and required documentation are correctly filed and up to date in the United States, Dubai, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and the British Virgin Islands, and supporting local administration in China, relying where needed on local counterparties.
Lead the Business support function in providing Client Onboarding documentation.
Provide guidance and career development for the Business Support Team in Manila; supported by annual appraisals, performance improvement plans, spot performance assessments, and training.
Coordinate with the IT Director in the improvement of PRIME’s financial functionality.
Through consultations, support operations in financial analysis.
Provide and present (via conference call) Management Financials
Provide Monthly and Annual financials, and Annual budget report to management.
Provide Midyear variance analysis of the budget and any financial reports required by Senior Management.
Maintain insurance policies and assess the appropriate coverage for the Group.
Required skills and qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Relevant professional accounting certification (e.g. CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA).
Minimum 10 years of progressive financial experience where the last five years is of experience in a management role in finance.
Proficiency in corporate finance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and tax rules in countries where the Group is operating.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into financial strategies.
Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with senior management and external stakeholders.
High level of integrity and dependability.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in financial leadership, international finance, and dealing with multi-currency operations.
