We are seeking an ex-Big 4 Consultant from Assurance or Finance Advisory teams to join our Client's Cost & Expense Analytics team. This role plays a critical part in driving transparency and efficiency across enterprise-wide cost management processes. Documentation & Audit Readiness:

- Reliable execution of monthly cost and expense analytics processes.
- Consistent mapping of data aligned with Oracle Chart of Accounts and business hierarchies.
- Enhanced process visibility through tracking dashboards and SLA compliance monitoring.
- Improved automation and reporting capabilities using tools like Alteryx and Power BI.
- Strong collaboration and communication with global and local finance teams.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in cost analytics, FP&A, or finance reporting roles.
- Strong understanding of transactional and forecast data, finance reporting outputs, and reconciliations.
- Prior experience managing recurring finance reporting processes is essential.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Oracle Chart of Accounts or similar finance hierarchies (e.g., account codes, business units, project codes).
- Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx and Power BI is highly preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
Soft Skills:
- Sharp analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and process orientation.

Job Summary:
We are undergoing a critical technical transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, aiming to enhance its financial operations and business processes. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to take on the role of Senior Product Manager. This position will be responsible for Senior Consulting and managing the SAP Finance module implementation and providing strategic guidance throughout the migration, ensuring smooth integration of financial processes and operations in the new SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, as well as extensive expertise in Senior Consulting technical transformations and business change management in an enterprise environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation:
- Senior Consultant the transformation of Client’ finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring that financial data, reporting, and analytics are seamlessly transitioned.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the existing SAP ECC Finance landscape and requirements for the S/4HANA transformation.
- Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for migrating SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to SAP S/4HANA, covering all necessary configurations, enhancements, and process optimization.
Product Management:
- Assume the role of Senior Product Manager for the SAP Finance module, serving as the primary subject matter expert (SME) and owner of the financial products and solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
- Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and objectives for the SAP Finance module post-S/4HANA implementation.
- Ensure alignment of the SAP Finance strategy with business goals, providing expert guidance to ensure financial processes meet business needs.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance business processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), tax accounting, financial reporting, asset accounting, and profitability analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with key business users, finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and configurations.
- Manage the end-to-end process for requirement gathering, ensuring that business stakeholders’ needs are addressed while balancing technical constraints and best practices.
Solution Design and Configuration:
- Senior Consultant the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including modules like Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and Profitability Analysis (PA).
- Conduct workshops and meetings to define and validate business requirements, ensuring the solution meets Client’s financial reporting, compliance, and operational needs.
- Provide deep knowledge of integration points between SAP Finance and other modules such as SAP MM, SD, and PS.
Testing and Validation:
- Oversee the testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the solution meets functional, technical, and business requirements.
- Develop test scripts, conduct workshops, and coordinate with various teams to validate the SAP S/4HANA Finance solution.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide guidance and training to key users, functional Senior Consultants, and business stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities and changes.
- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer from consultants and developers to end-users post-implementation.
Continuous Improvement and Optimization:
- Monitor the performance of the SAP Finance system post-implementation, identifying opportunities for continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and financial reporting.
- Senior Consultant initiatives to streamline financial processes and improve the integration of SAP Finance with other enterprise systems.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure that all project documentation, including system configuration, user guides, and process documentation, is kept up to date and complies with Client’s governance and audit standards.
- Ensure that SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions adhere to industry standards, legal regulations, and internal compliance policies, including IFRS.
Collaboration and Team Senior Consultant:
- Senior Consultant and mentor a team of consultants, both internal and external, ensuring that the SAP Finance module is delivered on time, within scope, and according to budget.
- Collaborate with other SAP consultants, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure the entire system works cohesively.
- Identify potential risks during the project lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies, ensuring the project runs smoothly and is completed without major disruptions.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Consultant on progress, issues, risks, and solutions.
Required Experience, Qualification and Certifications:
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with at least 3-5 years in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven experience in Senior Consultant SAP Finance projects, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
- Experience as a Senior Consultant or Product Manager managing complex finance systems and transformations in large-scale organizations.
Educational Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance modules (FI/CO) is highly mandatory.
Project Management:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred for execution and delivery of the program.
- Strong project management skills, with experience using Agile or other relevant methodologies for large-scale SAP transformations.
- Proven experience in Senior Consultant cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules, including new functionalities introduced in S/4HANA (e.g., New GL, S/4HANA Financial Reporting).
- Strong hands-on experience in configuring SAP Finance modules, integrating SAP with other business systems (e.g., SAP MM, SD, HR).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori for Finance user interfaces and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting is desirable.
- Familiarity with data migration techniques for SAP, including the use of SAP Data Services or SAP S/4HANA migration tools.

• The programme is designed for accounting / finance professionals that would like to venture their careers in the ERP consulting industry.
Responsibilities
• Participate and provide internal / external training.
•Participate and help Sales in pre-sales activities
•Project implementation activities
•Support customers with post Go-Live activities
•Develop recommendations and solutions for customers
•Conduct research and analyse data for solutions proposal
Requirements
•Diploma / Degree in Costing, Accounting or Finance. Supply chain management in the areas of production operations, logistics, purchasing, inventory control or warehouse management.
•5 years working experience in GL, Costing, Account Receivable and Account Payable.
•Must have passion for business consulting, trainer role and desire to learn and grow in the field.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Experience in discrete manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment
•Willingness to travel within Malaysia Client
