As the team lead of the Professional Development Unit within the Academy, you will guide a team of problem solvers and serve as an effective liaison between staff and clients pursuing professional qualifications. You will deal with stakeholders within and outside the firm. You will also co-lead in managing projects and programmes relating to early career development.

Operational Management:

• Ensure seamless operations at Acceleration Centre Kuala Lumpur, providing real-time information on credentials for stakeholders and regular updates to Leaders.

Team Leadership:

• Coach and develop the team to become a high-performing unit.

• Provide additional support and coaching to staff who need reinforcement to excel in their professional qualifications.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work with relevant professional bodies to create a seamless experience for participants in the programmes.

• Forge and maintain partnerships with corporate clients, sponsorship bodies, and universities.

• Collaborate with leaders to identify and anticipate immediate and future professional qualification needs, developing practical solutions.

Programme Management:

• Assist to manage Young Professionals programmes, providing support to external students

Financial Management:

• Manage budget utilization effectively.

• Maximize HRDC claims to achieve cost savings.

Reporting and Communication:

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.

• Maintain open lines of communication with all relevant parties to support seamless operations.

• Ensure that the quality of services produced meets expected standards and delivered in a timely manner.

Program Overview

Our Graduate Program provides an immersive experience in our company from day 1.

The program starts with a one-week Global Induction in Milan with trainings and activities led by the Prysmian Academy in collaboration with a Top-Ranking Business School.

Following your induction, you will be part of a one-year job rotation in 2 different departments: Research & Development and Operations in one of our production sites.

After the first year of rotation, you will take a role in the Country you have been hired in for 12 months aligned to business needs and your interests. The position will be technical, mainly based in one of our production sites, strongly linked to the core of our business.

Then, after completing your second year, you will start your international assignment for a duration of 3 years in one of our 50+ countries.

You will learn new ways of working, acquire technical knowledge, meet colleagues all over the world in a multi-cultural environment!

At the end of your assignment abroad, returning to the country you have been hired in , you will be ready to take on a new responsibility in the technical area continuing your career in Prysmian.

As a R&D Graduate Technical Traineeship Program at B. Braun, you will play a vital role in…

Your key responsibilities:

• Oversee all project phases to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. For senior roles, manage large-scale, complex projects from start to finish.
• Estimate costs, resources, and time needed for project completion.
• Track progress and performance against the project plan, ensuring targets are met by assigning tasks and gathering resources.
• Prepare engineering standards, designs, schedules, budgets, and select materials, equipment, staff, and contractors. Develop and analyze test methods and results.
• Conduct project meetings, prepare status reports, and liaise with clients and other operational areas. Provide training, review test results, and prepare test reports.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 13485, FDA). Manage external contractors and resolve operational issues if required.

What you will bring to the team:

• PhD, Master, or Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Biomedical, Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to perform and lead analytical testing including setup & results interpretation, failure analysis, root cause analysis, test method validation/verification.
• Understanding of material/polymer characterization, chemical analysis (e.g., FTIR, GCMS, HPLC, LCMS).
• Good communication skills, analytical skills, and experience in project management. Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO/IEC 17025 management systems is an advantage.
