The impact you’ll make

The Factory Quality Manager will oversee the activities of the Quality assurance, developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality related systems and processes for the organizations products. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a Best-in-Class Quality result for systems shipped to customers. This is a high visibility position that requires a seasoned and well-rounded candidate with experience in structured problem solving, handling customer escalation, data analytics, lean 6 sigma and various sills related to leadership and coaching.

What You’ll Do

  • Manages a team of Quality Engineers including coaching and mentorship in their task and development.
  • Functional quality leader directing the development and implementation of activities in the factory to meet quality goals within a cross-matrixed and global organization.
  • Develop strategies, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacturing quality systems. Metrics driven and a solid decision maker.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving all quality processes and related metrics. External Quality performance as well as Cost of Quality.
  • Drives activities and resources to respond to the customer on quality resolution and requests. Empowered to identify, recommend, and drive preventative actions within respective function.
  • Responsible for monitoring quality of Investigation & RCCA (Root Cause/Corrective Action) conducted by QEs and stakeholders in ensuring high probability that issues will not recur in factory.
  • Leads response to factory escalations requiring cross functional coordination and subject matter expert consultation.
  • Supports all Global Quality and GOPS quality projects and Management System Assessments (Audits).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree on Engineering or related field.
  • Factory Quality excursion management & operations management.
  • Minimum 6 years of managerial experience.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial / manufacturing processes, human factor, organizational behaviour.
  • Strong understanding in problem statement creation and root cause determination (8D/5Why/Ishikawa).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Organize benchmarking activities to compare factory performance and costs externally and internally. What Will Make You Successful Experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in sales, factory, or supply chain controlling roles.
