Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure productions are not interrupted and continuous improvements effort are in place for quality products.
• Assist in monitoring and daily maintenance works to reduce machinery downtime.
• Preparing roller changes for flour processing to improve flour extraction rates.
• Observe and follow all Operating Procedures and ensure safety practices are adhered to at all production areas including work and repair shop. Ensure all workers and visitors wear PPE as and when required.
• Comply with the requirements of FSSC 22000; support and participate in FSSC 22000 activities.
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Positive work attitude.
• This position is based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably with structural steel fitting skills.
• Fresh graduates with a degree in Mechanical Maintenance or related Engineering fields are welcome to apply.
• Experience in facility and maintenance environment preferred.
• Positive attitude with leadership qualities to manage project execution.

Job Openings: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist (Food Production Factory) - Based in SG

• Maintain and repair the defined plant equipment to maximize plant availability and minimize disruption to the production process.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and good housekeeping is maintained.
• Carry out implementation activities for minor plant modifications and capital projects, in line with defined specifications and budget.
• Takes personal responsibility for quality in all aspects of maintenance work that will have impact on product quality.

• Basic awareness of industrial standards.
• Good understanding of Standard Engineering Practice, GMP guide and relevant maintenance standards.
• Good knowledge in maintenance and operating principles of production and utility equipment.

• To carry out preventive maintenance work, service and repair as scheduled.
• To solve issues of machine breakdown or machine deficiency and minimize machine downtime.
• To maintain safety of all operational machines by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• To complete tasks or assignments requested by superior.
• To assist the company in maintaining inventory control for effective operations.
• Maintain housekeeping of the maintenance workshop.

Requirements:

• At least PMR, technical or trade certificate.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in production or manufacturing industry or related fields.
• Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to speak in Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Willing to work in shifts.

• Lead and manage for equipment in the plant
• Prepare and execute overall maintenance project planning, cost estimation, engineering design, master schedule, execution of tendering and commercial process
