Position Overview
The incumbent will be exposed to industrial development and medical device environment. He/she will provide support to area/field being assigned and completed tasks assigned by Assistant Engineers/Engineers/Manager within our cross division.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, HR policies, Quality policies, and employee guidelines.
- Tasks include reviewing the documents from our in-house contractors' documents / reports. File-in accordingly and update SOP's or checklist formats.
- Provide daily update to facilities team (Assistant Engineer/ Engineer/ Manager).
- Assist all job requests should attend to within 30min – 1-hour assessment and completed based on job criticality or type. Assist vendors and closely follow up.
- Assist facilities team to troubleshoot and repair electrical. mechanical, plumbing, civil, and other systems on equipment.
- Some knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical engineering, building operation and understanding of manufacturing process example: electrical, mechanical, civil, and ELV works. e.g CDA, Dryer, and Vacuum systems. etc
- Assist to managing chiller, and cooling tower operations. All types of HVAC systems, and LEV systems such as following daily work schedules, tracking assigned jobs, and preparing daily incident reports of activity for supervisor and technician.
- Assist the root-cause investigations for facility equipment-related issues, deploy corrective actions, and develop preventive actions to eliminate recurrence with facilities equipment.
- Assist and knowledge of safety permits issuance time to time, assist contractors, and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to ensure the safe execution of projects or maintenance activities and assist the EHSS team.
- Assist and involve in any drill exercise such as Fire drill, Emergency response. Etc.
- Analyse adverse trends and implemented corrective actions. e.g. energy, water consumption, and facility system.
- Assist to monitor Cleanroom area standard activity-based ISO class 8 and 9 and maintain a grade of design with follow ASHRAE standards and guidelines.
- Assist to monitor the Solar energy systems and energy efficiency program
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts for critical components and consumable parts of the equipment.
- Ready to learn and explore in facilities equipment methodology, communication all stake holders, and through task assignments.
- Perform other duties or assignments as requested by immediate superior
- Ability to be independent and self-motivated.
- Monitor data collection systems and trend data
- Analyze large amounts of data to present clear, actionable information to the team
- Analyze and improve current facilities operation, documentation, to improve better efficiency.
- Interact with cross-functional teams to lead long-term process improvement and implementation projects
- Maintain a cGMP compliant environment and operate within FDA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education And Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Enrolled as BS or MS candidate in engineering course or at least final year in engineering course or similar field
- MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and data analytics tools
- Only for Malaysian students
Preferred Skills And Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Building Management system and Environment Monitoring system
- Basic knowledge in Civils, Plumbing, CCTV, Access card system
- Data Analysis: SAP, Minitab
- CAD: Solidworks, AutoCAD
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and rigorous process discipline.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily work plans and unplanned issues on equipment, maintaining a focus on productivity without compromising safety or quality
- Multi-language fluency preferred (English, Malay, Mandarin)
