The Role

Conveyancing:

  • Handle sale and purchase agreements (including developer projects and sub-sale);
  • Handle all loan documentation for end-financing;
  • Handle all other conveyancing matters such as tenancy agreements, perfection of transfer and charge, discharge of charge/receipt and reassignment, etc.;
  • Liaise with clients, banks, and relevant authorities in government departments;
  • Monitor the progress of clients' files to maintain and update file status on our operation system;
  • Administer files and maintain correspondences and documents in a proper filing system.

Corporate and Commercial:

  • Provide legal advice and support in corporate transactions;
  • Draft and review commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal documents;
  • Assist in the formation and dissolution of companies, partnerships, and other business entities;
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other business-related meetings;
  • Collaborate with the litigation department to handle any disputes or legal issues arising in corporate and commercial matters.

Litigation:

  • Assist in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents;
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries and legal arguments;
  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations;
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates on case progress and strategy;
  • Assist in settlement negotiations and explore alternative dispute resolution methods;
  • Support the senior litigation team in various aspects of case management.

Ideal Profile

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in law and a valid Practicing Certificate;
  • Good command of English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia;
  • At least 2 years of experience in conveyancing, corporate and commercial, or litigation is preferred; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply, and comprehensive training will be provided;
  • Candidates must possess a good attitude, be self-motivated, responsible, willing to learn, and able to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision.
