The Manager of eCommerce and Digital sits at the intersection between Marriott International's eCommerce, marketing, and global distribution strategies. This role helps their property effectively pull through the sales, marketing, and customer engagement activities that drive awareness and profitability. This role will also manage overall activation of their property strategies in owned and third party electronic channels (Marriott.com, multi-lingual global sites, OTAs, meta search sites, search engines, and other eMarketing vehicles). - May also co-manage soft-dollar marketing budget for domestic OTAs with the eDistribution Team.
- Builds strong domestic relationships with the top 2-3 OTA partners.
- Collaborates with hotel and regional Revenue Leaders to review hotel performance on eChannels.
**Marketing and Communication Partnership**
- Assists in the development and execution of the cluster marketing plan (e.g. retargeting campaign, OTA marketing, etc.).
- Develops the offer landing page on Marriott.com for cluster offers.
- Identifies and obtains Marriott.com and OTA marketing and merchandising placements as appropriate.
- Creates mini-sites for domestic segment marketing efforts where needed (e.g. MICE or Weddings).
**Opening Hotel Support**
- Collaborates with Field Marketing to develop, recommend and execute the opening S&M plan for the hotel.
- Sets up the Marriott.com Hotel Web Site.
- Activates the hotel for sale on approved OTAs.
- Shop hotel to verify M.com and OTA rates are set up correctly.

Purpose:
-Develop, implement and manage global and regional branding and marketing campaigns together with the Creative and Product teams, under the direction of the Regional Sales Team, guided by the Marketing Manager. Manage branding and promotional content on web and social media platforms. Conduct market research, competitor analysis and prepare campaign performance reports.
Duties:
-Develop campaign presentation decks for management approval and external clients
-Oversees production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
-Prepare progress and performance reports for all ongoing campaigns
-Evaluates sales data compiled by sales department
-Monitors competitor activity and brainstorms potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services
-Works within the department to incorporate marketing needs into overall company planning and strategy
-Organises and attends company-wide and marketing events
-Travels to meet clients and attend conferences, trade shows, industry events, and seminars
-Adheres to and implements company policies and procedures
-Participate in all work related marketing activities such as livestream, photoshoot, voice over and etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Native-level fluency in spoken and written English. This is a strict pre-requisite.
-Additional languages to English and Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
-Preferably a holder of a Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or a Related Field with a minimum 3 years Marketing Experience.
-Computer Proficiency, Creativity, Innovation, Adaptability, Interpersonal Communication,
-Client Relationships, Writing, Public Speaking, People Management, Leadership, Organisation, -Planning, Multi-Tasking, Budgeting, Research, Analysis.

Responsibilities: To assist in planning and preparing materials for in-store events and promotions; to monitor social media performance (post insights and engagement trends); to plan and execute social media and WhatsApp blasts in order to engage the public and drive membership growth; to strategize and lead membership activation plans, including offline marketing activities to boost engagement and member participation; to support outlet / stores on marketing activities, liaising with relevant teams and external parties to ensure successful event execution; to capture product / event photos / videos for social media; to prepare monthly reports, event recap and meeting minutes and work closely with coordinator / digital media team to monitor and gather feedback on posts / reels / campaigns.
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent.

- Familiar with social media platforms and basic video/photo editing tools (Canva, AI, Photoshop, CapCut).
- Willing to travel to outlets when needed.
