Responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of property events. This position primarily handles events of average complexity. Ensures their property events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales. Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; experienced (1 - 2 years of experience) in the event management or related professional area.
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in the event management or related professional area required.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Event Logistics and Operations**
- Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently pursuing a Diploma / Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field. Some prior experience or exposure to event planning is a plus but not always required. Willingness to learn, adapt, and engage actively in a fast-paced, creative environment. Passion for immersive or experiential events is advantageous. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to
plan, organize, and execute a wide variety of events & trips . The ideal candidate will excel in
project management and vendor coordination , ensuring every event is delivered seamlessly and exceeds expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans and timelines for events. Oversee all aspects of event preparation, including venue selection, decor, catering, and entertainment. Coordinate with the management and team to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring their vision is realized. Develop and manage event and trip budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and kept within limits. Lead event teams, including coordinators, support staff, and volunteers. Ensure contracts and agreements are adhered to, mitigating risks and resolving issues promptly. Oversee event setup and takedown, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Address and resolve any on-site issues.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and management. Good communication skills in English, Mandarin is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Budgeting and negotiation expertise. Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to travel for local and overseas.
Working Hour: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 9:30am to 1:00pm Seniority level
