ERM is seeking a motivated Consulting Director in impact assessment and planning - Capital Project Delivery Services (CPD) to be based in Malaysia to join and lead our growing team. You will provide business and technical leadership to a strong and growing team of consultants in in Malaysia and its branch office in Brunei; deliver high profile projects, generate new business and develop excellent client relationships and play a key role in developing ERM’s Capital Project Delivery (CPD) business across Southeast Asia. Our approach is to work with our clients to identify their environmental and social impacts and risks throughout the project lifecycle so that they can be managed, from early project concept inception through to closure implementation. Our goal is to get client projects planned, built and operating to schedule in a way which meets the expectations of investors, regulators and local communities.
The ERM Malaysia/Brunei CPD team has grown significantly in the last 3 years with a strong traditional focus on the Oil and Gas sector in Malaysia and Brunei and now supporting the renewables sector namely solar projects and supporting end of life projects when decommissioning. To meet the increasing sustainability goals many of our projects now include Biodiversity, Nature and Social Performance amongst many other services and our website shows the wide range of CPD projects undertaken by ERM globally Capital Projects & Infrastructure .

This Partner / Consulting Director role offers an exciting career opportunity with a leading global sustainability consultancy, working on innovative and diverse projects to support our expanding business in Malaysia and more broadly in Southeast Asia as well as supporting Global projects. The role requires working with ERM’s senior management team to support clients in the different sectors, offering expert advisory and assessment services on the management of environmental and social issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Support the development of the CPD team technical skills and competency.
- Provide leadership to the CPD team and with clients.
- Manage teams and project delivery in maintaining service excellence to our clients.
- Work with the Malaysia Leadership Team and other Teams including the Technical Risk and Safety team and the Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation team to develop client relationships and lead sales efforts.
- Expand the portfolio of CPD opportunities.
- Personally deliver sales from existing and new clients.
Job Requirement:
- BSc, preferably MSc or similar, in Environmental Science / Engineering or other science or engineering degree relevant to impact assessment and environmental / social management.
- At least 15 years of relevant working experience in environmental impact assessment and management.
- Reporting and verbal communication in fluent English.
- Strong knowledge of priority sectors such as O&G, Energy include renewables and major infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of Malaysia/Brunei regulatory environment and proceedings around large-scale investments.
- Good working knowledge of international standards such as the Word Banks’ Operational Policies, the IFC’s Performance Standards, the Asian Development Banks Safeguard Policies and the Equator Principles.
- Preferably registered with Department of Environment (DOE) as an Environmental Consultant.
- A willingness to travel within Malaysia/Brunei is essential for short terms assignments and potentially in Southeast Asia.
- Must be culturally adept.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-drivenProject Manager to join the RAYS 2026 team during a critical period of preparation and delivery. You’ll work closely with the Summit Director and execution team to ensure seamless internal operations, budget tracking, and timely delivery of key summit outputs.
This role requires someone who sees the bigger picture, holds the pieces together, and brings creative solutions to support a growing multi-stakeholder team across ASEAN and beyond.
Project Coordination & Tracking
- Maintain updated project timelines, workplans, and calendars
- Monitor deliverables and deadlines across functional teams
- Track progress and flag gaps to ensure smooth execution
Internal Operations
- Organise and support internal team meetings and documentation
- Assist in preparing decks and materials for internal and external use
- Work closely with team leads to track workflows, milestones, and support needs
Budget Oversight & Expenditure Tracking
- Monitor project spending and update expenditure tracking sheets
- Assist with procurement processes and quote comparisons
- Support reporting to funders and partners as needed
Quality Control & Documentation
- Ensure high-quality outputs across decks, briefs, and written communications
- Support consistency across internal documentation and shared folders
- Contribute to preparation of summit reports, SOPs, and post-event documentation
Funder & Stakeholder Reporting
- Assist the Summit Director in preparing reports, updates, and presentations for various stakeholder
- Ensure data, budget, and impact narratives are well-documented and ready for reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent organisational, communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot gaps and follow through
- Experience working in project delivery, nonprofit/events, or multi-stakeholder environments
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace, Canva, and basic budget/excel tools
- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with the team
- A problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:- Fully understand the client objectives and project goals and articulate them clearly.
- Develop project plans and work with project teams to execute on plans.
- Monitor day-to-day activities of project teams and ensure work is progressing as planned.
- Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
- Manage resource assignments to the project, and proactively identify resource challenges.
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
- Consistently identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
- Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
- Communicate and document project status to clients, team members, and management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels.
- Create and manage functional specs documentation along with project team members.
- Recap and create debriefs for every completed project; facilitate discussions on lessons learned and new knowledge gained; document properly and share.
- Prepare project documents such as SLAs, NDAs, execution plans, etc.
- 1–2+ years Digital Agency Project Management experience or experience managing projects (design, video, digital marketing and website development).
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Level-headed and positive attitude under pressure.
- A passion for learning new skills.
- Strong web and desktop skills — Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs, and various web-based tools.
- Excellent Communication and Client Relations Skills
- A keen interest in the digital industry.
- A desire to stay updated with the latest digital platforms and technology.
- Responsible, organised, with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
- Required skill(s): Presentation Skills and proficient problem-solving techniques.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

You will lead medium to big sized project teams and drive projects from pre-definition until closure in close cooperation with several Divisions and Business Lines across the globe. Project types: innovation, new technology implementation, technology transfer, relocation, conversion. Main tasks:
- Project management for development and implementation of competitive new Test Technology & Innovation projects
- Execution projects according to the Infineon Test Roadmap, the Frontend board strategy, and the strategy of the portfolios.
- Manage and execute defined projects (innovation, technology transfer, relocation, conversion) and sub-projects to achieve strategic project objectives: Scope, Budget and Time to project completion.
- Manage a medium to big sized project team with members outside the direct working environment, belonging to different organizations, based in different locations
- Organize reporting and meeting structure within the project, manage stakeholder relationships, provide regular project status, appropriate and timely escalation of critical topics.
- Coordinate and prepare Change Requests for the projects.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or a comparable qualification.
- More than 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with 2 years of experience in leading projects.
- Project Management skills (professional certification is an advantage)
- Experience of leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Willingness to travel internationally from time to time, mainly to our locations in Europe and Asia

Purpose:
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to design and implement global/regional standardized processes for business enhancement. This includes gathering requirements, coordinating reviews, and overseeing implementation, change management, and Go-Live activities to support business growth and core operational efficiency.

- Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and ERP systems (e.g., implementation, migration, upgrades).
- Experience in process design, gap analysis, and execution within business transformation projects.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills in multicultural environments.
