Job Description
- Prepare, review, and update environmental reports and site assessments for clients.
- Provide technical support for environmental field services and site assessment projects.
- Collect relevant data and information for reporting purposes.
- Assist in preparing field monitoring jobs, including stack air monitoring, ambient monitoring, boundary noise, water sampling, and environmental site assessments.
- Maintain all files and client reports.
- Liaise with clients as required.
- Maintain good communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyze scientific data and perform quality control checks.
- Attend site visits for sampling, inspection, or testing as needed.
- Assist the Operations Manager in supervising and coordinating job scheduling, manpower control, and allocation within the department.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling daily operations within the department.
- Support the development of new and existing business through client contacts.
- Assist Safety and Health Committee members in organizing safety and health programs, campaigns, and related activities.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement of Health & Safety and Environment (HSE) performance.
- Follow instructions related to environmental regulations and compliance.
- Adhere to SGS Quality Management System standards in all responsibilities.
- Uphold SGS HSE policies by practicing good safety behaviors and complying with safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or senior management.

About you
- Master’s degree in science or engineering or environmental or equivalent industrial experience.

- Internal auditor or ISO auditor qualification a plus.
- Experience of Lean/TPM tools and ways of working a plus.
- Good working English required.
