Position Overview:
The SHE Specialist will administer workplace health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations (OSHA, local laws). Responsibilities include inspections, incident investigations, data management, emergency preparedness, and stakeholder coordination.

- Liaise with authorities on SHE compliance and environmental matters.
- Manage PPE inventory and safety equipment maintenance.
- Maintain documentation/filing systems for audits and reporting.
- Assist in ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 implementation (preferred).
- Address pandemic emergencies (e.g., COVID-19 protocols).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational safety & health (preferable).
- Experience: Preferably 2 years as SHE practitioner; OSHC certification is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of SHE laws and emergency management.
- Excellent verbal/written communication (English & Bahasa Malaysia).
- Attributes: Independent, detail-oriented, team player, and discreet with confidential data.
- Logistics: Willing to travel, work on shift and support after-hours emergencies.

- Manage the Environment Health & Safety key performance indicators for Malaysia. Support to drive continuous enhancement in the overall performance and provide senior level oversight on the implementation of key global EHS improvement programs.

- Maintain close ties with external resources and professional forums and ensure that AP retains functional leadership role within the industry through active leadership involvement with industry organizations.
- Support Line Management and business to ensure all applicable EHS regulations and requirements are complied in all activities.
- Degree in EHS, Engineering or Science.
- DOSH qualification and Green Book Holder
- 3-5 years EHS experience in gas industry or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Be familiar with local Environment Safety & Health regulations
- Strong understanding of EHS programs and management systems such as ISO14001 and ISO45001 standard requirements.
