Key Responsibilities includes but not limited to,
Operations
+ Manage and operate security systems (Security, Health and Safety Portal, CCTV, intrusion alarm, access control, etc.).
+ Coordinate timely completion of outstanding Security Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions with appropriate parties and communicate issues to the District Manager and Regional Security Manager/Director.
+ Be a part of the District Business Review meeting to discuss security-related issues, concerns, and best practices.
+ Coach employees and management on how to complete incident reporting per the Security Incident Reporting Standard.
+ Take the lead on all district security incident investigations, in coordination with Regional and CHQ Security.
+ Support Business Continuity Plan development and testing.
+ Supporting full implementation of Expeditors Health and Safety Standards.
+ Educating colleagues and Service Providers regarding safety to enhance an overall culture of safety in the face of potential resistance.
+ Supervise a group of outsourced security personnel in daily security operations.
+ Serving as key point of contact for Operational Process Standards.
+ Managing Security, Health and Safety resources and tools (ex. the Portal).
+ Delivering Security, Health and Safety training (instructor-led courses).
Compliance
+ Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and in being the role model of integrity and pride for all employees.
+ Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
+ Ensure 100% branch compliance with all local Security, Health & Safety regulations, in coordination with any branch / external compliance officers.
+ Ensure 100% branch compliance with all Operational Process Standards ("Expeditors Minimum Security, Health & Safety Standards").
+ At least 2 years' relevant experience with exposure to supervisory functions preferably in logistics or supply chain industry
+ At least 1 year experience in the setup and administration of Security Systems
+ Ability to drive standards, awareness, compliance and implementation of all security, health and safety related matters
+ Able to efficiently conduct Security, Health & Safety related topics' briefings and trainings sessions
+ Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
+ Proficient in MS Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to the details
+ Proven leadership attitude and skills
+ Ability to drive through change

Emergency Planning & Response
Develops and implements emergency response plans, including fire, natural disaster, and evacuation protocols, ensuring the hotel is fully prepared to respond to emergencies.

Compliance & Safety Audits

Demonstrates the ability to conduct legally defensible investigations, including interviewing, evidence preservation, information retention, and comprehensive report writing. This also involves liaising with insurance companies during the claims process, particularly in situations where incidents or investigations may result in potential insurance claims.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication
Works closely with all hotel departments to ensure a cohesive safety strategy and that safety measures are integrated into daily operations.
Liaises with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services to maintain a strong support network and ensure alignment with external safety protocols.

- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related discipline.
