Enterprise Control Testing (ECT) is an independent risk & control oversight, testing, and advisory function. ECT manages and monitors the effectiveness of Functions’ internal risk and control environment by:

  • Establishing and enforcing risk management and control frameworks (e.g. Internal Control Management Policy Standard).
  • Undertaking control assurance activities (e.g. controls testing) to assess design effectiveness and operating effectiveness of controls employed by Functions.
  • Reporting to Senior Management on the firm’s state of risk and control environment.
  • Identifying opportunities, risks and issues to propose recommendations to supported Functions to improve risk management practices.

Detailed Description:

Control Program and People Management:

  • Lead/coach a team of 2-5 analysts in managing 1LOD control testing program initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong management skills to effectively lead and engage a team of Analysts to execute risk and control evaluation activities (e.g. review and challenge, controls testing).
  • Demonstrate advanced level of risk management knowledge to facilitate and support Functions in identification and assessment of risks and controls within functions.
  • Create and manage risk assessment and control evaluation and testing, predominantly for CNB GRM controls, and other controls as may be assigned by immediate manager. This include performing, reviewing, and signing-off on control evaluation work papers and results.
  • Maintain ECT tools and archive systems.
  • Exhibit high attention to details in identifying, aggregating, and communicating issues and control gaps to ECT Senior Management and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare refined and polished reports and memo, including issues and proposed action plans to Functions and ECT Senior Management using strong writing skills.
  • Develop and execute different testing programs aligned to ICMP and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Display interpersonal and negotiation qualities to be able to conduct meetings to socialize and negotiate issues and findings identified in testing.
  • Validate and close control gaps and self-identified issues of Functions.
  • Continually develop deeper understanding of RBC’s businesses and subsidiaries.
  • Develop relationships across the organization as to facilitate communication and strategic partnerships.
  • Be methodology centric and actively develop RBC wide risk management and control evaluation standards and methodology.
  • Continuously develop domain subject matter expertise in risk management and control evaluation activities.

Project and Strategic Support

  • Undertake stakeholder management when liaising with U.S. counterparts and local managers on assignments and work sets.
  • Participate in regular discussions with ECT U.S. counterparts on ECT strategies, work plans and other matters.
  • Actively develop and build staff skills and competencies as well as identify training needs of the staff.
  • Day-to-day management of team of Analysts (e.g. resource planning, distribution of assignments).
  • Participate in performance management of staff and provide feedback to staff from time to time by displaying strong coaching skills.
  • Leverage on advanced writing and communication skills to develop Senior Management briefing materials and periodic management reporting, in a management-ready state.
  • Follow up on remediation of issues and findings raised by Internal Audit and Regulators, if any.
  • Lead development and maintenance of tools (e.g. ORMS, SharePoint) utilized to execute and memorialize risk assessments and control testing.
  • Complete trainings in areas of management and subject matter expertise as well as other mandatory trainings.
  • Assist Associate Director in execution of strategies, plans and other matters as needed.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc assignments/special projects.

Responsible for B2B integration system and implementing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), RosettaNet, AS2 or and other integration methods to enable seamless data exchange between the organization and trading partners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Support and communicate with IT, Business and External Partners.
+ Understanding of EDI concept and working knowledge with X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet standards.
+ Handle SAP IDOC mapping, Partner profile and output condition conversion configuration and interfaces testing.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analysis Specialist I you will responsible for projects and acts as a liaison between the Business and the application development teams. She/He contributes to the different phases of the application life cycle, such as data modeling, maintenance, support and enhancements. Moreover, the Data Analyst responsibilities consist of:

  • Identifying and analyzing business needs
  • Conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives
  • Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
  • Translating business requirements into application requirements

Key Responsibilities

Business Skills

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate information and processes related to one or several tracks within the Data & Analytics
  • Capacity to understand, analyze and depict high level architecture or solutions to turn data to insight.
  • Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, functional design, testing and working with business processes.
  • Understanding of how IT affects an organization and ability to link it to redesigned business processes.

Technical Skills

  • Utilize data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL) to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Project Management Skills

  • Assist in project planning and coordination for data analysis initiatives.
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring that timelines and objectives are met.

Interpersonal Skills

Data Analyst, Analyst II is an individual contributor is responsible for tasks within a specific domain, focusing on their individual work:

  • Networks with other PPG Analysts to understand how IT solutions are deployed in other areas to solve business problems.
  • Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.
  • Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which require a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities as well as the ability to act effectively as a team member.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of IT or a related discipline experience. Outstanding fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Must have a strong systems and process orientation.
  • Must be comfortable working remotely and lack of face-to-face time with colleagues and managers.

  • The Continuity of Business (COB) & Crisis Management (CM) Senior Analyst supports Citigroup's Enterprise Resilience (ER)
  • The role of the Sr. Analyst is to assist the Country ER Execution Lead in managing the ER/Business Continuity Management (BCM) program as it applies in-country.
  • Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to guiding the business units’ completion of the annual COB deliverables, being the SME with regards to the system of use to ensure appropriate documentation of COB and Crisis Management related documentation. COB deliverables includes : Business Impact Analysis, Business Recovery Plans, Crisis Management plans, Tabletop Exercises.
  • Data analysis and Advanced Excel modeling skills.
  • Pro-active and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
  • Attention to detail with hands on approach and able to manage own work load whilst taking direction.
  • Sufficiently experienced to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborative approach, must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus decisions that are right for the organization.
  • Flexibility and Autonomy are essential as may need to work outside of the standard hours, especially in the event of a business disruption/crisis.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
