About the role

The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems throughout the resort. Assisting the assistant Director of Engineering in managing the engineering department. Responsible for overseeing the repair and preventative maintenance of all M&E services.

What you will do

• To assist in the day-to-day engineering operations in maintaining the interior & exterior of the resort buildings including kitchen and laundry equipment.

• To update all M&E services drawings and proper management of these drawings.

• To develop and implement Preventive Maintenance and Repair schedules for all M&E system / equipment.

• Ensure timely and quality execution of preventive and corrective maintenance throughout guest rooms, villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

• To carry out routine resort walkabout inspection – Kitchen, Laundry, public area, rooms, etc.

• To conduct regular fire alarm testing and ensure fire fighting and protection system in the hotel is well maintained and working at all times.

What you bring

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.

• Minimum 3 years of engineering or maintenance experience in a luxury resort, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

• Proven experience managing teams and overseeing large-scale facility systems and operations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.

• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented.

• Release the information into the Quality specification portal. Enable the downstream activities such as Quoting, purchasing, inspection and etc.
• Manage the data change requests globally.
• Review and construct the manufacturer part number from the component datasheets and drawings.
• Provide alternate recommendations.
• Provide BOM health analysis included Life cycle analysis, parametric analysis, preferred supplier coverage analysis, Rohs verification, lead time analysis, sourcing status summary, component downsizing summary and etc.
• Process the supplier part change notification. Enable timely communication to customers.

• Good system skill on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft power point, Browser.
• Equip with Industrial standard knowledges included Aerospace & defense, Automotive, HealthTech.

Summary

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Validate, evaluate and set up the component by component level, commodity level in the component classification management tool globally. Release the information into the Quality specification portal. Enable the downstream activities such as Quoting, purchasing, inspection and etc. Manage the data change requests globally. Review and construct the manufacturer part number from the component datasheets and drawings. Provide alternate recommendations. Provide BOM health analysis included Life cycle analysis, parametric analysis, preferred supplier coverage analysis, Rohs verification, lead time analysis, sourcing status summary, component downsizing summary and etc. Process the supplier part change notification. Enable timely communication to customers.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Good system skill on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft power point, Browser. Equip with Industrial standard knowledges included Aerospace & defense, Automotive, HealthTech.
