About the role

The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems throughout the resort. Assisting the assistant Director of Engineering in managing the engineering department. Responsible in overseeing the repair and preventative maintenance of all M&E services.

What you will do

  • To assist the in the day-to-day engineering operations in maintaining the interior & exterior of the Resort buildings including Kitchen and Laundry equipment.

  • To update all M&E services drawing and proper management of these drawings.

  • To develop and implement Preventive Maintenance and Repair schedules for all M&E system / equipment.

  • Ensure timely and quality execution of preventive and corrective maintenance throughout guest rooms, villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

  • To carry out routine resort walkabout inspection – Kitchen, Laundry, public area, rooms, etc.

  • To conduct regular fire alarm testing and ensure fire fighting and protection system in the hotel is well maintained and working at all times.

What you bring

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.

  • Minimum 3years of engineering or maintenance experience in a luxury resort, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

  • Proven experience managing teams and overseeing large-scale facility systems and operations.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented.

  • Manage the maintenance of technologies including automated pressing machines, surface sanding systems, and precision preparation equipment.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining operational excellence.

Leadership and Growth:

  • Demonstrate first-hand management experience, including team development, performance evaluation, and strategic planning.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve manufacturing processes and achieve company objectives.
  • Prepare for future technical leadership roles by continuously developing management and decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with expertise in analysing and optimizing industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as automation systems, precision mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with equipment technologies including but not limited to sanding, pressing, and precision cutting systems.

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAM Engineer responsible for converting product design data into executable manufacturing programs and tooling instructions. This role plays a key part in the new product introduction (NPI) and supports ongoing manufacturing optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize CAM programs for precision machining and PCB processes.

Summary Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Procures goods and services in support of the business operations.

  • Coordinates, controls and reports inventory of the business operations.

  • Tracks inventory issues and assists in implementing action plans, works with team members in understanding and resolving issues.
  • Supports physical inventory count process.

  • Verifies the discrepancies in the inventory by coordinating physical checks and analysis.

  • Knowledge of the types of materials and services being purchased by the department.
  • Strong knowledge of SCM policies, procedures and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in relevant business applications.

  • Good negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • Industrial Mechanical qualification (knowledge & CAD skill) will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience of the SAP system will be an advantage.

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Sustained visual concentration on small areas, such as monitors, screens, precise eye/hand coordination, sustained visual concentration on numbers, legal documents.
  • Duties may require manual movements of carrying, pushing or pulling light objects (under 5 kg).
