Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of public equipment and facilities, including water supply and drainage, air conditioning systems, compressed air systems, exhaust systems, and pure wastewater systems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and life safety systems to maintain compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and repair costs.
- Manage maintenance plans and equipment maintenance budgets.
- Identify and resolve potential problems and hidden faults promptly.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contactors for specialized maintenance work.
- Oversee the safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals and materials, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental (EHS) protocols, ensuring that all machinery and facilities meet regulatory and company standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize production downtime.
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including task delegation, training, and performance management.
- Take ownership of EHS compliance, ensuring adherence to workplace safety laws and environmental regulations.
- Serve as the main liaison with government authorities such as DOE, BOMBA, and safety enforcement agencies for regulatory compliance, inspections, and audits.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to facility maintenance, EHS, and regulatory compliance.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors on time.
Requirements:
- Essential skill(s): Strong planning and coordination skills, equipment failure analysis and judgment, and good problem-solving skills.
- Diploma/Degree in Electric / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
- Knowledge of national power facility standards, 3R waste management regulations, and compliance laws.
- Honest, calm personality, able to endure hardships, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Result-oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of the operation machines used in the production line.
- The candidates who able to communicate in Mandarin will be added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are mostly welcome.
