You will be reporting directly to the Insurance Exchange CTO, while managing a group of squad leads.

You will be responsible for…

Coaching and supervising squad leads, assisting them to achieve maximum efficiency and sustained throughput.

Guiding teams while solving complex problems, ensuring scalable, resilient, and optimized solutions are implemented.

Promoting best practices adoption across teams, from software design patterns to optimized architectures, coaching the squad leads and associated teams to improve quality continuously.

Enforcing consistency across all squads, ensuring strategic approaches are well defined and shared amongst all team members while promoting continuous compliance with adopted patterns and engineering practices.

Promoting group-level service reuse, by ensuring services are built for reuse, mapped to well-defined bounded contexts, and properly exposed to facilitate adoption.

You will need to have a very strong experience as a developer or as a devops (expert level).

Very solid experience managing multiple development teams.

Deep knowledge about microservice-based architectures.

Exposure to international projects while managing development teams, coordinating dependencies, and orchestrating releases.

The Successful Applicant A successful Engineering Lead should have: A strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience over 10 years. Strong understanding of ATM/POS switching systems, debit card issuance and management, digital channel integration, encryption protocols. Exposure to emerging payment technologies including Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, QR codes, and digital wallets is advantageous. Skilled in API development and web service integration. Proven experience integrating switches with VISA and MasterCard is essential. Solid understanding of full software development life cycles including Waterfall, Agile, and other modern methodologies. Proficient in preparing comprehensive documentation such as Solution Architecture, functional specifications, and technical specifications. Familiar with cloud platforms and services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile App Development Engineering Lead to oversee and guide our mobile development team in creating exceptional Android, iOS and React Native applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mobile development processes, tools, and release cycles, as well as a proven track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Android, iOS, React Native developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Act as a technical leader and provide guidance on best practices, code reviews, and design decisions.
• Define team goals and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Oversee the end-to-end mobile app development process, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment for both Android and iOS platforms as well as React Native integration.
• Ensure seamless integration with back-end services, APIs, and third-party tools.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Technical Expertise:

• Drive technical decisions and implement best practices in mobile development, including architecture, performance optimization, and security.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, frameworks, and tools in Android, iOS and React Native development.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Manage app release cycles, including beta testing, app store submissions, and updates.

Quality Assurance & Maintenance:

• Establish and maintain a robust unit testing process, ensuring the delivery of reliable and bug-free applications.
• Monitor app performance post-release, address user feedback, and ensure timely updates and enhancements.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with expertise in Android, iOS and React Native platforms.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role within a software development team.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift) and React Native development.
• Experience with mobile app architectures such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile App Development Engineering Lead to oversee and guide our mobile development team in creating exceptional Android, iOS and React Native applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Android, iOS, React Native developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Act as a technical leader and provide guidance on best practices, code reviews, and design decisions.
• Define team goals and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Oversee the end-to-end mobile app development process, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment for both Android and iOS platforms as well as React Native integration.
• Ensure seamless integration with back-end services, APIs, and third-party tools.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Technical Expertise:

• Drive technical decisions and implement best practices in mobile development, including architecture, performance optimization, and security.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, frameworks, and tools in Android, iOS and React Native development.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Manage app release cycles, including beta testing, app store submissions, and updates.

Quality Assurance & Maintenance:

• Establish and maintain a robust unit testing process, ensuring the delivery of reliable and bug-free applications.
• Monitor app performance post-release, address user feedback, and ensure timely updates and enhancements.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with expertise in Android, iOS and React Native platforms.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role within a software development team.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift) and React Native development.
• Experience with mobile app architectures such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
