Risk Engineer - Power Generation / Power Construction
- Plan and execute insurance underwriting surveys for clients and prospects in Asia.
- The work will require planning the survey and travel, leading the survey team which may include underwriter engineers and producing the Underwriting survey reports to the required deadlines.
- The work will involve overseas travel.
- The work will cover (Operational Upstream and Downstream clients and Upstream and Downstream Construction Projects / Operational Power and Power Construction Projects, emphasis on Conventional Power such as Gas Fired, Coal Fired, and Renewable Power such as wind power, PV solar, BESS, hydroelectric, geothermal, and etc
We will count on you to:
- Support the Practice for insurance underwriting surveys outside Asia, GERE and GRETN.

- Provide technical support to clients and prospects as and when required such as attending client meetings, and seminars and renewal roadshows. For large clients this will require planning and management of the annual survey plan.

Job Description
- Recruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure legal compliance with labor regulations and HR best practices
- Maintain and update HR systems, records, and databases
- Drive performance management and employee appraisal systems
- Design and implement training and development programs
- Monitor and improve employee engagement and retention
- Administer compensation, benefit, and leave policies
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for senior leadership
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resource or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Must have experience or currently in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
- Seniority level Mid-Senior level
