**Job Summary**
The Electrical Engineer is directly responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and record keeping of all maintenance related activities on the plant site.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.
+ Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager.
+ Develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.
+ Plan and inspect completed work on plant device.
+ Maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work.
+ Acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
+ Train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
+ Communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
+ Execute work order through CMMS and co-ordinate with Electrical Technicians for job completion and technical matters.
+ Assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
+ Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.
+ Co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for stock inventory.
+ Acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance.
+ Evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping.
+ Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor with all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.
+ Understand OH&S risks / hazards and Environmental / legislative aspect / Impacts related to work activities.
+ Perform assigned tasks as given in Quality Manual I, II and EHS Manual
+ Travel may be required
+ Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
+ You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
**Required Qualifications & Experience** :
+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with 5-7 years' experience in similar capacity at combined cycle power plant preferably having GE F Class Technology.
+ English proficiency required
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

**Job Description**
In this key role, you will lead and oversee structural engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction. The right fit for this role will possess multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering
1. Lead the development of electrical designs, spanning from initial concepts to meticulous detailing.
2. Take charge of creating design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects. Additionally, review materials prepared by junior engineers.
3. Prepare comprehensive design reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.
4. Execute on-site electrical service surveys with precision.
5. Collaborate with Professional Engineer with Practice Certification (PEPC) in establishing connections, preparing, and following up on Authority Submissions.
6. Coordinate with local government departments to secure design project approvals.
7. Foster relationships and coordinate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, System Contractors, Civil Contractors, QS professionals, and more to bring electrical building service designs to life, from inception to intricate detailing.
8. Assume the role of Project Manager, overseeing projects from their conceptual stages to their successful completion.
9. Provide guidance and supervision to junior engineers.
10. Assist in the preparation of competitive tenders and bids.
11. Exhibit and offer your technical expertise.
**Qualifications**
1. Possession of either a Masters or a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
2. A track record of a **minimum of 7 to 10 years of design experience** , specifically within the context of construction or infrastructure projects, commensurate with relevant expertise.
3. Preferable Professional Engineer status
4. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD
5. Proficiency and a strong grasp of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process, including the ability to execute design projects within a BIM environment, manage information on a shared data platform, establish workflows for MEP modeling, produce sheet drawings, and manage asset data.
6. Candidates with prior experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure projects, such as metro and railways, will be given preference.
7. Proven experience in executing design and construction projects within a BIM environment, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of BIM tools such as REVIT and CAD.
8. Proficiency in the use of specialized engineering software, including Dialux, Hevacomp, Ricoda, Amptech/ETAP.

+ Overall 10+ years of work experience is preferred.
+ Previous experience in **HV Cable OEM design teams working for Grid Utilities** (for e.g., National Grid, Trans grid, PowerGrid etc.,) for Underground HV Cables design is highly desirable
+ Exposure to International standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards) is preferred
+ Previous **design experience working with CYMCAP or other similar software tools for EHV/HV AC and DC Cable Ampacity calculations, EMTP Calculations and modelling expertise** is highly desirable.
+ Very good communication skills (Oral and Written) in English language is mandatory
