Optics Engineering

Wireless Hardware

The team is involved in developing wireless electronics hardware, delivering integrated electronics and antenna solutions for our connected consumer products.

About The Role

Our graduates are assigned to project teams from day one, working on the evolution of Dyson technology. As a graduate, you will be an integral part of the project, contributing toward end-to-end hardware development from circuit design, simulation and verification testing to providing support to suppliers during mass production manufacturing. Some of your tasks could include:

Electronic circuit design across a range of regimes, from mains-powered high voltage products to complex high-speed digital logic systems Developing and testing algorithms to ensure electronics, software and hardware integration Testing and analysis of electronics at circuit and product level for new designs Support different team on optics simulation and test according to requirement Prove wireless designs are robust with comprehensive laboratory RF design & antenna verification. Perform RF antenna simulation using EM CAD tools to design the optimal antenna solutions for challenging integrated applications Testing and assessing the reliability and robustness of our designs Solving electronics challenges to create better, faster, more cost-effective solutions for Dyson’s unique products

About You

Graduating by August 2025. Working towards or have achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or other related discipline. For the role with Wireless Hardware team, it would be advantageous if you have majored or taken modules in Communication Engineering or RF/Microwave Engineering. As an Electronics Application Engineer, you will design and develop test processes for computer hardware and related equipment. Your role includes creating test plans and equipment, implementing and monitoring test procedures, and conducting hardware product validations to ensure performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for hardware AE technical support in debugging and resolving on cellular and non-cellular wireless communication module products for customers.
• Provide reliable HW design solutions to customers according to their actual applications.
