Responsibilities:

• To grow new customers (90%) focusing on business development into new markets in Malaysia while maintaining some enterprise accounts (10%).

Job Scope:

• Demonstrate a “hunter” mentality for acquiring new customers (90% of job scope) .
• Evaluate and develop strategies for targeted markets (Machine Building OEM, Electronics and Manufacturing companies) to generate new leads and opportunities.
• Target clients and companies with specific R&D capability within Manufacturing space, eventually branching out to Oil & Gas and Chemical markets.
• Hands-on and required to drive product presentations and technical demos with confidence.
• Conduct market research, provide forecasts, and offer feedback to the General Manager for assessment.
• Provide weekly reviews to the General Manager for reporting.
• Explore partnership selling in Malaysia.
• Adopt a sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales revenue.
• Track record within B2B sales – especially in OEMs, electronics, or manufacturing sector a strong added bonus.
• Build strong and collaborative relationships with customers.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure smooth delivery to customers.
• Technical acumen and effectively communicate technical concepts (able to work with internal application and technical team).
• Organize training for vendors, distributors, and customers.
• Stay informed about new product launches and acquire the necessary technical knowledge.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering is a must, preferably with electrical or electronics background.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant sales and engineering experience.
• A highly independent and disciplined individual, who thrives on challenge of acquiring new clients, able to work with remote support.
• Knowledge of handling low voltage or extra low voltage electrical component products is added advantage.
• Familiarity with and preference for working in smaller setup structure.
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and the region as required.
• Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin (speaking and listening) with good fluency.

Job Description:

• Conduct daily inspections of assembly equipment;
• Resolve operational issues arising during routine equipment operation;
• Perform periodic maintenance on assembly equipment;
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by direct supervisors.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or above
• More than 1 year of work experience in the Automation/Assembly industry
• Good English writing and expression skills;

1. Assemble modules according to technical documents using assembly tools provided.
2. Perform quality checks on own and other staff's assembled modules.
3. Drive quality topics, constantly remind everyone, practice quality awareness, and ensure quality is set as a top priority in all actions.
4. Perform error search/troubleshooting of modules in the test station or in the machine.
5. Responsible for production hour bookings (BDE) and productivity of self and own staff.
6. Maintain housekeeping of work area and assembly in general (parts/modules arrangement, organizing work table, and controlling chemical and tools cabinet).
7. Develop and maintain standardized work instructions for all assigned areas.
8. Complete all necessary assembly reporting and required paperwork.
9. Attend quality, machine planning, and organizational meetings when required.
10. Handle tooling machines when required (hand-drill, drilling machine, lathe machine, grinding machine, milling machine, etc.).
11. Mentor new staff, trainees, and part-timers as assigned.
12. Book modules into stock in PAWH.
13. Follow up on purchase and precision parts required to perform complete assembly.
14. Assist in the creation of procedural documents (SOP/OPL).
15. Perform hands-on assembly when required in Pre or Final Assembly.
16. Lead improvement activities for quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives, supporting continuous improvement through Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing Process.
17. Develop meaningful alternative solutions to identified ergonomics problems and propose practical design solutions specific to the worksite.

2. Ability to efficiently use all MS Office applications.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Assembly Operator performs complex assembly using machinery, tools and equipment. The role includes following detailed instructions and conducting standard quality control (QC) testing.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• CXS
  • Perform machine assembly (wiring, generator, detector).
  • Perform Final Assembly that is done after cross check completed including obtaining approval from RPO.
• GENERATOR
  • Perform inner assembly process for all models of generator (material preparation & jumper, tube & cap assembly, sub-inner assembly, inner assembly & inspection).
  • Perform offline preparation to support generator assembly line (lead shielding, stamping lead coat & lead plate, housing assembly & inspection, lacing assembly)
  • Perform oil filing (oil line filter assembly, oil cooler, oil filing, oil cleaning, oil cooler assembly, expansion tank assembly, operate Mica fluid Oil purification system, electrical safety test & leakage test for oil cooler).
  • Perform inner assembly for HR12 & HR14 (heating transformer assembly, anode assembly, cathode assembly, complete assembly).
  • Perform external assembly for HR12 & HR14 (set assembly & ATU assembly).
• IMS
  • Perform assembly process for all IMS products (wash & bake, swab assembly, pen assembly, token assembly, condenser assembly, calibrant assembly, reactant assembly, membrane assembly).
  • Perform QC testing for all IMS products (cleanliness & sensitivity).
• GENERAL
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production efficiency and quality.
  • Other duties as required.
  You are authorized to act within the jurisdiction and capacity in your job scope to deliver the results/output expected of your job function.

Education:

• SPM or equivalent.

Experience:

• Fresh / minimum 1 year experience in a similar role in an engineering/ manufacturing or related industry preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Minimal prior experience in the role; training will be provided.
• Grasps general concepts of the position, with exposure to some detailed aspects.
