+ Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.
+ Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager.
+ Develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.
+ Plan and inspect completed work on plant device.
+ Maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work.
+ Acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
+ Train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
+ Communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
+ Execute work order through CMMS and co-ordinate with Electrical Technicians for job completion and technical matters.
+ Assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
+ Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.
+ Co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for stock inventory.
+ Acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance.
+ Evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping.
+ Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor with all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.
+ Understand OH&S risks / hazards and Environmental / legislative aspect / Impacts related to work activities.
+ Perform assigned tasks as given in Quality Manual I, II and EHS Manual

**Required Qualifications & Experience** :
+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with 5-7 years' experience in similar capacity at combined cycle power plant preferably having GE F Class Technology.
+ English proficiency required

Facilities Technicians at Google data centers operate, monitor and support physical facilities conditions. Some of these duties will include heating and cooling of air and water, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution and control and monitoring systems. You regularly help inspect, maintain and repair various data center systems such as piping and non-critical electrical or mechanical system components).
As an advocate for best practices, you develop creative approaches to reducing operational costs while improving overall data center efficiency. You ensure that environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems and making repairs quickly. In emergency situations or abnormal conditions, you manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures.
As a Facilities Technician, you will operate, monitor, and support physical facilities conditions for our data centers. You will Lead and ensure the electrical system compliance including local legal and Environmental Health and Safety policies. You will ensure electrical system reliability, and Lead the commissioning activities Functional test and Integrated System Test (IST). You will manage and support electrical system operation, and lead the electrical system maintenance program including preparing the technical specification, procurement and maintenance vendor performance management.

**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and manage Data Center electrical systems, including medium and low voltage, ensuring uptime through maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and execution of operational procedures, responding to work requests and providing technical ability.
+ Conduct root cause analysis for service failures, implement recovery and prevention actions, and drive improvement in site Water Usage Effectiveness and Power Usage Effectiveness to minimize environmental impact and enhance system reliability.
+ Lead and support the startup, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and systems into the facilities infrastructure, coordinating vendor support and participating in system design reviews for new projects and modifications.
+ Ensure compliance with all site environmental health, safety policies, and legal requirements, while developing infrastructure knowledge and providing training to the team.
