Duties of Position:
- Develop, implement and monitor company environmental, health and safety programs and policies in ensuring compliance with the government legislations, RBA & corporate EHS requirements.
- Drive the EHS performance indicators, compliance, trends and key focused projects.
- Act as the liaison with the regulatory agencies, internal and external customers regarding EHS matters.
- Lead the Environmental, Health and Safety Committee in developing EHS initiatives.

- Additional certifications such as FSO, BOFA, AGT, AESP are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities- Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and rectify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Develop, review, and implement Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) for all routine and non-routine activities.
- Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and develop effective corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.

- Stay current with all applicable Malaysian EHS laws and regulations and ensure the facility's policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Act as a key liaison with regulatory bodies such as the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JKKP), Department of Environment (DOE/JAS), and the Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA).
- Assist in maintaining the ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) certifications.
- Prepare and submit all mandatory EHS reports to government agencies in a timely manner.
