The Day-To-Day Activities

• Involved in monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closing process, including the preparation, posting of journal entries and monthly closing schedules. # # **Primary Details**Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeTo ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of QBE ANZO’s capital reporting requirements including statutory, regulatory and budgeting requirements.**Your New Role:*** Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.* Ensure timely submission of reports to regional, Bank Negara Malaysia and other regulatory bodies.* Review and validate financial data for accuracy and completeness.* Conduct analysis of financial results from both strategic and analytical perspectives* Manage day-to-day delivery of team services to meet specific needs of the business.* Provide technical expertise and guidance on financial matters.* Keeping abreast with financial and regulatory changes* Drive process optimisation and efficiency targets.* Provide financial management leadership in areas such as tax, financial reporting, and treasury management to the finance team.* Establish effective financial controls to protect the organisation's profits.* Support the development and maintenance of financial systems and procedures.* Ensure compliance with internal governance and risk policies* Manage external and internal audit processes and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.* Liaise with regional and group finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency.* Other regular or ad hoc financial or regulatory reports, as required.* Support Head of Finance in leadership of the Finance team.* Supervise and mentor junior reporting staff.* Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.**About You:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.* Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW)
